About

I'm making 3D printable plants, props, and terrain for tabletop gaming. Each month I'm releasing at least 10 models that are free for my Patrons. I'm planting fantastic flora, digging up alien artifacts, and exploring exotic landscapes. All designed for 28/32mm tabletop gaming, but with plenty of detail to print much larger if you like.

  • The Stockpile - a welcome pack of goodies for Patrons only
  • All of the current month's models as they are completed
  • All of last month's models
  • Pre-supported versions, too
  • All Patreon posts, pics, videos, and discussions
  • Discount codes for my models at MyMiniFactory.com

I'm currently committed to ten models a month. A typical collection for the month might consist of 2 different plants with multiple variations, an intricate fractal artifact, and a couple of interesting rock formations. In the future I might branch out a bit depending on how the community leans, but I'll be focusing on plants, props, and terrain with a sci-fi/fantasy feel.

One of the models will be released for free each month.  I think this will be a great way to attract more Patrons while also giving back to the 3D Printing community.  For instance: If I make 4 variations of a new plant, one might be free while the other 3 versions would be only for Patrons and retail customers.

I'll be using Itch.io to deliver the models. I've never like the way that most Patreons involve  those expiring Dropbox or Sync links. It's a big hassle keeping track of everything and making sure you get it all downloaded and stored every month. With Itch, I can give you a 'key' that gives you easy access to your files and you can go grab them any time you like. I'm in contact with My Mini Factory to see if there is a way to arrange something similar there.

With a solid base of Patrons I could spend a little more time on this project. At this stage we can adjust course. Maybe I'll commit to specific kinds of models each month, maybe a more focused approach with monthly themes, maybe something that the community hasn't thought of yet. :)
