Historically, many great stories have come into the world as serialized novels; The Three Musketeers, The Count of Monte Cristo, Madame Bovary, Anna Karenina, The Brothers Karamazov, and more.
This format fell out of favor during the age of radio and television, but I’m bringing it back with a serialized novel recounting the exploits of one of the greatest heroes (and scoundrels) of the Regency era; George Wickham.

Yes, our protagonist is none other than the rakish scoundrel from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, whose wicked ways and accidental impact on the course of world affairs would be unequaled in English history until the rise of Sir Harry Flashman in the later Victorian era.

As you can see from the example above, each chapter takes the form of an online flip-book (plain text is also available for those with slow connections) - and in their pages you'll learn more about the relationship between Wickham, Darcy, Georgiana, and other familiar characters, discover what transpired between our hero and Lydia Bennet in Brighton to result in what some have referred to as a "scandalously patched-up marriage" and then see what happened after the happy couple left the Bennet family home at Longbourn and headed North to meet Wickham's new regiment.

Seduction, betrayal, intrigue, and all-out war - this novel has all that and more...

Your generous donation will help bring the story off the internet and into bookstores and e-readers everywhere - with your name memorialized forever in the contents as a modern patron of the arts...
Thanks for your support, and please spread the word via Twitter, Facebook, e-mail, and any other social networks you participate in. Then, follow the story as it develops over the next few months on-line, and you'll be the first to receive the finished product in the form of an e-book and/or autographed trade paperback (depending on your level of sponsorship.)

At this highest and quite honestly vaguely ridiculous level of patronage, your name will be on top of the acknowledgements list and you'll get two free e-book gift sets sent to the friends or family of your choice, and a total of two autographed paperbacks (one for you, one for a gift). Rather more significantly, you will get to appear as a character in either this Mister Wickham novel or the next (warning, the author cannot promise that said character will not get horribly maimed, slain, double-crossed, seduced, swindled, or some combination of the above by George Wickham and/or one or more other historical or literary figures, or that your literary persona may not turn out to be a ridiculous parson, a treasonous rebel, a pickpocket, a overbearing matron, or a promiscuous ingenue...)
