Welcome to my Patreon page!

I'm a New York Times bestselling author who writes fantasy, urban fantasy, and tie-in fiction. My short fiction includes dark fantasy, mysteries, ghost stories, tales inspired by myth and folklore, and a few that don't easily fit into any catagory.

Why am I here?

I see Patreon as a combination of social media platform and publishing venue. It's a way to connect with readers, both old friends and new. It offers another way to get stories out into the world.

What can you expect from this Patreon?

Each month, I'll post a short story and an article. There will also be weekly posts and the occasional bit of whimsy, such as the cartoon illustration for "Family Matters," a free short story. If there's enough interest, I'll include longer, more ambitious stories.

Since I'm a teacher by training and inclination, I'll be posting articles about the writing process, answering questions, and offering one-on-one support to aspiring writers.

Every patron will have access to all content published on my Patreon, regardless of the level of support. All the fiction, each writing article, and every post. The first month's story and article are available now to all readers.

Thanks for reading!
I hope you'll consider joining my Patreon community and I look forward to the conversations to come.

Tools of the trade.  Thanks to your support, I'll invest in an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription and learn InDesign. This will come in handy when it comes time to format Patreon stories into collections.
