With Wolf Neighbours and Barbarian Lord joining Oh, the Beating Drum! in the comics rotation, we have a chance at producing an issue every month without overly taxing anyone. And at $1,750 an issue, we have a chance of publishing them without overtaxing my wallet.

Worlds Without Master is an adventure fiction and gaming magazine featuring sword & sorcery short fiction and games from Epidiah Ravachol and many others. A magazine that will grow in size and content as its Patron Horde grows in number.


Currently, each issue of Worlds Without Master has within its pages two illustrated tales, a comic, an illustrated game or article, and a miscellany of fantastic bric-a-brac to pepper your stories and games with.


Bryant Paul Johnson's comic Oh, the Beating Drum! and Matt Smith's Barbarian Lord have both graced these pages, and all auspices say they will again, along with Wolf Neighbours, a new comic from Rachel Kahn.Worlds Without Master has also featured a number of roleplaying games that have begun to make a name for themselves, including Enter the Avenger, Wolfspell, A Scoundrel in the Deep, and Swords Without Master.

  • To publish monthly, never more often than that;
  • To publish enough fiction, games & related articles to last you the whole month;
  • To publish a magazine the gods themselves would stock in their waiting room;
  • And to  pay my contributors a highly competitive rate.

The Wandering Merchant
Advertising. At this level, you will not only receive the complete magazine as a PDF; but you will also be a allowed to advertise in the issue. This reward-level gives you almost a third of a page in ad space and your ad will be among content and not other ads.
Note: The cost and quantity of this reward level are based on the amount of patrons and content for the magazine. Patrons at this level will receive an email from me explaining the specifics about the ad. Advertisers are responsible for creating their own ads according to these guidelines and getting them to me in a timely matter. I reserve the right to reject any inappropriate ads.
