I don't like having long ad interruptions in the middle of my content, neither do you. As Adsense earnings decrease the need for sponsors becomes greater. Help me greatly reduce these sponsor based ads!
Of course, once in a while there is a sponsor that I genuinely like to work with that I think is relevant or fun. I don't want to totally limit myself here and tear down opportunities for furthering my business. What I do want to do is get rid of unneeded distractions with the ability to be as picky as I would like to be if by happenstance a good sponsor does come along here or there.

Travel to more trade shows and events
Traveling to trade shows and events is money that usually comes out of my own pocket. Your pledges would help me get to these events and cover them to their fullest.
Acquire and maintain better equipment
Your pledges would help me up my production quality such as cameras and lights and set improvements.
Employ or pay for helpers
With this contribution milestone I would be able to seek help for my productions and pay those people for such help.

Hey there! I am Erica Griffin and I make very in-depth videos about technology on YouTube. I like to review things in a manner that gives viewers a sense that they had a chance to play with a product before buying it. Or if they already bought a device I see that my videos become a source for comparison or even a source for a buyer to feel he/she has made the right choice in the purchase.
Making my YouTube videos is a full time job and commitment. Monetizing videos through YouTube isn't always a stable form of income and often leaves me without the resources needed to expand my channel. Not to mention, I have to eat and live. While being a content creator this sort of independence isn't always easy.
Ad clicks are not always reliable as a source of income. But your support can be =)
A little known fact is that I purchase most of the devices that I review with money out of my own pocket. I do this because I like to be as objective as possible in my video reviews. I don't like to be told what I can say or to be given pointers by a company. I don't like to feel that I owe loyalty to a company because they loaned me their device to look at. I want to be as brutally honest as possible. That can require that I purchase my own devices. Also, I take a lot of time using/examining a device so that I can cover it as in-depth as possible, so the few times I get to borrow a device, the company wants it back before I can make my in-depth review. =( This has been a difficult short-coming.
So this campaign is for those of you who really want to engage with me and my content! On YouTube there are many people who view my stuff and take or leave it, but there are some of you who really support me and want to see my efforts progress. Becoming a Patron will help me do that and will offer a way for me to thank you for all of your needed support! After all, it is from YOU who constantly engage with me who keep me where I am, who keep me wanting to come back and produce more! YouTube ad monetization truly only goes so far and the stress from that is a hindrance. Becoming a Patron gives me more freedom in my work to produce!
