No Ads on Evil Plan

At about twenty-five dollars a week, we'll clean up the site a bit by removing the ads. This will also cover hosting costs, which Megan and Alexis currently pay for out of pocket.
Two Updates a Week for One Month & Livestream Party

At about fifty dollars a week, it's a serious milestone. Considering taxes and the cost of living, it’s not enough for us to permanently change our work schedules, but we do want to say thank you. So for one month, the comic will update twice a week. Since you donate based on time, not updates, you won’t be charged any extra during this time. The only thing that will increase is the amount of sweet comic pages and plot.
To celebrate this, Alexis will spend an evening on Livestream. Everyone can attend, but patrons will get to toss out suggestions and choose what she draws. (Within reason, of course. We want to make sure everyone has fun at the party.) She’ll start in the late afternoon, and go way into the early morning, to try to give people from as many different time zones as possible a chance to stop by.
Volume One PDF!

All patrons get a pdf of volume one of Evil Plan. This includes the prologue through Chapter Three, as well as the bonus comic "Sick Day!"
Two Updates a Week, Permanently

Okay, this is the one you guys really want. I feel it. But we have overhead to consider. Minions need health insurance. Computer needs a bit of an upgrade. At $150 a week, we can bribe the minions to disintegrate anyone asking for health insurance, and we can toss some used parts on Computer. It’ll never know the difference. With these financial considerations out of the way, we can step up production, and deliver two pages of Evil Plan every week.
Fruitcake Livestream

Alexis and Chelsea will fly Megan out to Michigan, or they'll go to Colorado, and they'll eat fruitcake on livestream. Or something. Damnit. (Look, I know you hate fruitcake, I hate it too. Just set it super high. Then we should be safe. I can guarantee that we'll never make that much money.)
About
Alexis Royce- Writing, Line Art, Site Upkeep
Alexis is a professional freelance illustrator, so she draws a lot of things. Sometimes she makes pictures of boxes with people yelling at each other in them. She sends these pictures to her cousin, Megan. Any leftover time is spent in RPGs- console or tabletop- and discussing theatre trivia with her wife, Chelsea. Almost all hours at home are spent with a tiny green parrot on her head. (The parrot's time is spent eating the pictures of boxes.)
Megan Johnston- Color Art
Megan lives in Colorado, where she takes up the dangerous mantle of post office worker, braving weather conditions that would make a lesser being quake. She spends her free time making bags, coloring her cousin's scribbles, or hanging out backstage at concerts, and drinking hundred dollar bottles of champagne with her plethora of rock star friends. (This may or may not just be the impression her younger cousin has of her.)

Evil Plan, a weekly webcomic about Dr. Kinesis- a misanthropic mad scientist- and Alice Evanson, his ambitious engineer.
Hey readers, it's Alexis here! For eight years we've been making this exuberant, wry, and melodramatic story. And if anything, our passion for these characters and this world has only grown.

Patreon is a monthly tip jar. Like Kickstarter, you toss money at us, and get some nice perks for your trouble. But unlike Kickstarter, you pay every month, instead of all at once. This way, you can pick a pledge that won't hurt your wallet too much, and Megan & I can draw a steady income. There's pledge levels from $1 to $100, since we know that everyone has different levels of dedication, and you can always raise or lower your pledge if you're feeling generous or if money's tight. You'll be charged at the beginning of each month for last month's updates, and you'll never be charged more than once a month.
Don't worry, Evil Plan is not being put behind a pay wall. I want everyone to be able to read it for free, forever. If you don't want to or can't pledge money, that's totally fine! You just enjoying what we make has kept us going for eight years. However, Patreon is a way for Megan and I to make a living wage off of Evil Plan. And the more money we make, the more pages of comic we can make, too!
So whether you want more comics, more perks, or just plain like the idea of helping out Megan and I, thanks for stopping by our Patreon page. And if you're new to Evil Plan, welcome! You can read over 500 pages for free right here. Let's get chummy. Could I interest you in a fresh slice of fruitcake?
