About

We're creating free, mostly fantasy themed materials for the Fate Accelerated Edition and Fate Core tabletop role-playing games (both of which are available as pay-what-you-want products in a number of electronic formats right here) published by Evil Hat Productions. While antagonists, opponents, and hazards don't take long for an experienced GM to write up, sometimes you don't have enough prep time before a session, or the player characters head off in an unexpected direction and you need an encounter to throw at them in a hurry.

That's where these resources come in. These fully statted up creatures, NPCs, and hazards can be dropped into any session for an instant encounter, or used as the basis for a preplanned adventure scenario. They also serve as examples of what can be done with the Fate RPG.

On the last Friday of each month, we'll release a new set of resources (a collection of between one to four antagonists, monsters, and hazards depending on size and complexity) grouped by theme or location to our Patreon supporters. At the end of the following month, we'll make that resource set publicly available for free on our blog site: fantasticfateresources.com. Each set is provided as both letter-sized and A4-sized PDFs for easy printing, contains both Fate Accelerated and Fate Core game information, with each individual entry taking up about half a page. As a thank you to our supporters, we'll occasionally release Patreon only bonus content.

Below is a selection of the most recent publicly available Fantastic Fate Resources. We'll update this list as new resources are added each month. Click on either the "A4" or "Letter" next to each entry to download a PDF of the indicated size. Or click on either Monsters or Heroes to browse the entire collection of available resources.
(Please note some entries are still being updated and do not currently have Fate Core stats.)

Goals
$24 of $25 per month
Once we reach $25 a month, we'll increase the number of resources in each monthly set; somewhere from two to six antagonists, opponents and obstacles (instead of one to four), depending on size and complexity.
