improved Graphics and Editing!
I really need help managing my footage (~14TBs and growing) as well as prepping rough assembly edits - being able to hire an assistant editor
for just one day per video would save me a TON of front end work,
allowing me to make the fine cuts of the videos that much better!
I'd also love to have professional graphics and illustrations / animations - I like using them when needed, but it is not my skill set; thus they are cartoony at best, and it is incredibly time consuming for me to do them myself.
I'd hire a professional artist to help with these.

Currently approx. 25% of videos are a "Full Production" - We will double it, aiming for 50%
Note: this will be an average as some "Full Productions" take a long time to shoot and edit, but result in multi-part mini series.

I can say good-bye to other clients and contracts, while "Flight Chops" becomes a Full Time focus; It would be more of a full on TV series BUT with out the limitations imposed by TV networks!
We'd make 26+ Full Production episodes per year + additional bonus videos as inspired by the content - the Sky is the Limit!

If it get's this huge, I imagine there will also be some pretty cool sponsors on board to help augment the costs…
The crazy thing is that as I write this, I feel like I am describing my dreams coming true; work and play will have merged! - but this is not like wishing to win the lottery - we're already in a position where this goal is not THAT far out of reach. It's amazing!

I love film making (it's what I do for a living) and I obviously love flying - I do it for fun, but take it very seriously from a safety standpoint and am always looking to learn and improve.
My work in TV can be frustrating because much of the time we are fighting to edit things WAY down to fit a tight time slot, or meet network exec requirements, and by the time we're done, the true essence of the content is usually gone.
With "Flight Chops", it has been so liberating to be able to make aviation related content the way I want to make it - I am very respectful of people's time and always work hard to make my videos concise and engaging...
But I am not handcuffed by a time slot, so I am also free to be indulgent and let the content breath as needed; I make it fun, but I also love to explore all the geeky details.
Basically, I'm mostly disappointed by the mainstream aviation TV content, so I am making the flying show that I'd want to see.
I'm currently making 2 new videos per month.
(a new video every 2nd Friday)
My videos will ALWAYS be free - I make them for self analysis purposes and am happy to share.
The only question is how big and how often I can make them.
As the productions get more complex, I've started working with bigger crews, and traveling for shoots to cover amazing things like specific specialized training and type conversion checkouts.
With your help, Flight Chops can keep growing and producing more awesome stuff!
