Can you really build with paper? Yes, and we will show you how? Who is "We"? Doris and Danny, a wife-and-husband-team, developing a method to build earthquake-safe and hurricane-safe houses that are cheap and can be built by everybody without special tools or knowledge, almost everywhere. That is especially important for the developing world where there is most suffering, think of Haiti, but also the recent earthquakes in Italy.

Developing countries desparately need something like that.

We are not planning to sell our building methods, plans or papercrete recipes but make them freely available, so those most in need can use them straightaway. To help us devote more time to this whole project we appreciate your contribution towards material costs, transportation and so on. Every dollar counts ;-) Thank you, Doris & Danny

...  it all began when Danny was a Designer and Builder of art and utilitarian objects made of papercrete, from flower pots to dome houses. We still do that but the focus is shifting more and more to domes to enable people in need to help themselves. And of course Doris still does her other way of art - djembe drumming, teaching, workshops, and drum circles. You can find her here: Doris drumming site

to make and offer a variety of special rewards for different levels of support, we are simply asking for one dollar per month to keep the work going and to keep it freely available to everyone. If you think our work justifies more than one dollar please feel free to pledge what you consider suitable. Thank you!
Goals
$0 of $1,000 per month
At this amount we will be able to offer one (1) dome building workshop per month - free for up to five (5) participants on our block of land - and provide the materials needed as well as space to pitch some tents for the duration of the workshop, and ... have some fun as well!
