I run a website at GideonsGaming where I try to give detailed reviews and articles of all things gaming related. I'm also a big tabletop gamer and am currently running a game of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition for a group of friends in real life.

I don't run ads on my site, and my main content, such as my game reviews will always be posted to the public for free. I also like to share any homebrew content I create for DnD publicly. It's somewhat difficult to match my particularly vocation to Patreon which is why I have only a single tier. However, if you become a patron you do get a special role in my Discord channel and access to patron only stories of my ongoing DnD shenanigans. These started out as audio files, but honestly writing is my niche so going forward they will likely be written.

If I start accumulating patrons I'll see what else I can come up with to offer.

I also usually leave a donate button at the tail end of my articles for folks that don't like the idea of a subscription but still want to support the site. In any case, simply reading and sharing my content is incredibly supportive, so if you are here, thank you, truly.

As for my website, I have a page detailing who I am and another detailing how my scores and everything work. I try to be as transparent and informative as possible. My goals are two-fold. To help gamers make informed purchase decisions and to bring attention to games that I believe truly deserve it. This is especially true for the Indie market, where a lot of talented game developers are struggling to even get their game noticed.

You will never see me rage bait, or post inflammatory titles. I loathe that kind of journalism with a passion. The gaming community direly needs more positivity. This is an important hobby we all use to escape. We have enough toxicity in the real world, why bring that into gaming? When I criticize a game I try to be constructive about it rather than angry.

Thanks for reading and thank you for your support! Happy gaming!

Thanks for the support! You receive a special discord role and gain access to the stories of my groups ongoing DnD games. If you don't wish to become a patron. I usually leave a small donate button that you can toss in a noncommittal buck or two at the end of my articles. However, just reading my content is incredibly supportive, especially if you share it with other gamers! Thanks for reading!
