Do you have a dream?

When I was a kid, all I really wanted to do was tell stories. Now I do. Over the past ten years, I’ve written eight novels, two short story collections, a guide for aspiring authors, and a novella. I won the BSFA Award for Best Novel in 2013, and have been shortlisted for several other awards, including the 2016 Seiun Awards in Japan.

You could say I’m living my dream.

The trouble is, writing takes a lot of time. It’s hard work. And that’s before you start including all the conventions, literary festivals, interviews, blog posts, and other activities that have become an essential part of promoting one’s writing career.

For me, writing is a full-time job. The only problem is, it doesn’t pay like one. Money comes in dribs and drabs, and I’m never quite sure what I’ll be earning from one month to the next.

And that’s why I’ve launched this Patreon. With your support, I’ll be able to spend less time worrying about money and more time producing fiction.

A monthly subscription of only $1 (around 70p in the UK) will get you access to exclusive peeks at works-in-progress, blog posts, unpublished stories, deleted scenes, and other treats unavailable elsewhere.

If you can afford a little extra, you'll get access to bigger and better rewards, such as an original monthly patron-only fiction serial, access to an exclusive monthly vlog, and signed and personalised copies of every book I publish during your patronage.

So please, click here now and join me on my writing journey!
