As well as my gratitude, and that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you are helping someone out, I will reward you. Your Support will not only allow Me to create, but I will give you access to The Garleoncraft Exclusive Facebook Group. Here you can watch live videos of me making things and see behind the scenes pictures of projects being made for customers. (If you are not on Facebook then you can request the Email Newsletter.)

You will also get a name check on any videos made. (Or you can keep your superhero identity a secret... I won't tell.)

This level of support is the same price as a soft drink from the average take away...  it's also non fattening and sugar free. It works out at £1.50 plus Patreon's fees so approximately £15-18 a year. You can pay this outright by contact me directly. Benefits are for 12 months from your complete payment up front or after 6 months of direct debit payments, this is to prevent people "subbing and ditching". Yeah I'm afraid it does happen.

THIS CAN BE PAID DIRECTLY TO ME AS A ONE OFF £15 IF YOU WOULD RATHER NOT SET UP A PATREON ACCOUNT. Just message me on facebook http://www.facebook.com/garleoncraft for details.

Wow
. You really want to encourage my creativity. In return for this fantastic increased level of support I will be able to expand my toolbox. With your pledge comes the ability to guide me towards trying even more new and interesting methods of creating. It could be pyrography, decopatch, pottery, stained glass or even welding. I will also be able to try out more specialist materials like paints, clays, resins and 3d filaments. This would allow me to experiment more than ever before.

As a Backer you will get all the benefits a Supporter gets... and then some ! Not only will you be able to suggest new creative methods, you will also have a direct input into creating them. I will run draft designs past you for approval and you will have a chance to vote on what actually gets made. The more socially aware of you will have heard of the chat server facility Discord. I use this a lot for chatting to crafters around the world (and for gaming). You will also get access to my Patreon Exclusive hang out chat room.

You can have a name check on any videos or remain anonymous if you wish.

Exclusive PATREON ONLY merchandise and products. I expect to be able to produce limited quantities of smaller products like keyrings and coasters. You will be sent these as and when they are produced with my thanks.

Cheaper than a single round of drinks with a couple of good friends... and this will give you something to wax lyrical about while you have a dram. It works out at minimum of £2 plus Patreon's fees so approximately £25 + a year. You can pay this outright by contact me directly. Benefits are for 12 months from your complete payment up front or after 6 months of direct debit payments, this is to prevent people "subbing and ditching". Yeah I'm afraid it does happen.

THIS CAN BE PAID DIRECTLY TO ME AS A ONE OFF £25 IF YOU WOULD RATHER NOT SET UP A PATREON ACCOUNT. Just message me on facebook http://www.facebook.com/garleoncraft for details.

About Garleoncraft

Hello, my name is Gary and I like to make things. Brought to you from the Highlands of Scotland, this is GARLEONCRAFT. Please join me as I design and make signs and gifts using various self taught crafting and manufacturing techniques. Hopefully we can learn from each other along the way. I started Garleoncraft in 2011 as a way of recovering from an episode of depression. The “Black Dog” is always there in the background but I find that if I keep my mind active and busy in more constructive ways, He doesn’t bark as much.

I started crafting name plates using MDF and a scroll saw. From there I progressed to a Dremel multi-tool to add more details and engraving onto the MDF's surface. The natural progression was to move onto freehand routering signs. These routered signs have been my staple product and extremely popular. I found some incredible tutorial videos and forums online. Facebook has brought me even more sources of information. It is full of likeminded individuals all keep to share tips and advice.

I like to progress and challenge myself by trying new methods of creating. I bought a palm router to do more intricate detailed routering. I have avoided CNC routering so far. This has been a deliberate decision to keep the "handmade look" to my work. However I did relent to buying a vinyl cutter when demand for more complex projects called for it. The design software that came with this cutter allows me to plot out and cut quicker and more accurately than I could by hand.

More recently I purchased a desktop K40 Laser cutter and as I type this I am waiting for my first 3d printer to arrive. As you can see, I like to challenge myself !
