About

Gertrude Press is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 by writer Eric Delehoy, and now holds the distinction of being the longest consecutively published queer journal. We have published work by over 300 individuals from more than 35 U.S. states and 11 countries worldwide.  We serve as a springboard for artists and authors to further their professional careers, including university tenure and book publication.

As of 2017 we are on-line, and energized to have a global reach, and also launched GERTIE: a quarterly, queer book club to expand our prevailing mission of supporting and promoting strong, literary LGBTQ writers.

We are seeking financial supporters so we can increase our reach, pay our contributors, and provide stipends to our small, dedicated, and hard working staff. Please note: because we are a 501c(3), we qualify for your corporate matching funds. So donate $15 a month and if your company matches it, then you are at the $30 level!
