Hello, I'm Glavius and I'm a mod creator for Paradox games. Currently I work full time on Stellaris as a modder. I am a specialist when it comes to modifying the Paradox AI to compete at all levels of difficulties. The goal of my mods is to create an AI capable of taking on the average player and being a capable threat without any bonuses.

Mods for all:
My goal in modding is to create mods that anyone who owns the base game can use. I want to make games more fun and add value to the base game without overhauling features or adding new ones. I personally want my mod to be distributed on as many sites and locations as possible which is why all of my mods are released under the following policy:
"This mod like all of my mods can be used by anyone for any reason. You do not need my permission to take and use any section of this mod. You do not need to link back to this mod. You may use this mod for customizing your mod. You may make profit from this mod. You do not need to credit me in your mod."
If my work can help someone else to enjoy a game more then they already are then I'm happy someone is using it.

Why Patreon?
I have decided to launch a Patreon after a long time of being against the idea. My major modding project right now is for Stellaris. A game which I no longer play and have no interest in going back to. With the release of the Distant Worlds expansion I was faced with a decision of either discontinuing my mod or just not updating to take advantage of the Distant Worlds features. Thankfully, a kind subscriber to my mod purchased a copy of Distant Worlds for me. It was then that I decided that a Patreon made the most sense to continue to provide mod updates in the future.

What do you get for backing?
Currently I'm offering four tiers.

The backer tier is a tier for anyone who wants to help fund future mod updates and wants access to content that is produced specifically for this Patreon. Further, I will be issuing a poll on the 1st of every month to determine mod direction and to find out what people want done the most. This allows anyone to get a say in development of this mod.

The 2nd tier is for someone who has a specific question related to a feature or mechanic that can't really be answered in a couple of sentences. This tier should be used by someone who needs a deep dive on a feature and wants to understand why it either does or does not work. An example of a feature deep dive can be found here. This deep dive was written to explain why the AI in Stellaris is having trouble playing the game. You will need to be logged into the Paradox forums and own Stellaris to view this post. You will also have access to the monthly polls.

The 3rd tier on offer is for anyone who wants a compatibility patch between one of my mods and another mod. These patches may or may not be full featured depending on how complex the compatibility patches will need to be. For example if you ask for a compatibility patch with New Horizons then I'll do the best I can to port all of the AI logic into New Horizons but I cannot guarantee that it'll be as good as the AI in the non-compatible version. You will also have access to the monthly polls. I will maintain the patch for one year and document any features in the patch so that someone else can take it over at the end of that year.

The fourth tier is for someone who is looking to create a new mod. It comes with 8 development hours with at least 2 hours in direct communication to determine the direction of the mod, handing off of any content, and a simple question and answer session.

Arrangement of time is two 30 minute meetings and one hour long meeting.
For your first meeting with me you should budget an hour and have the following:
A full outline of your mod covering what your mod is, what your mod will do, finalized content for your mod, and all other non-scripting mod content developed. You will need to make all of this available on an upload site such as Google drive so that I can download and review it as needed.

I will then go and develop the mod spending roughly two to four hours on it. After this a mid-development meeting will happen in which you can review the work and approve direction of the mod.

I will then go and develop the mod for the remaining time. Upon completion of either the mod or running out of time a fourth and final meeting will be setup to hand over all developed content. Any work that hasn't been completed would either be your own to finish up or you would need to renew again to have work finished.

Thank you!
Your backing of this project will help to create mods in the future for numerous games. By backing me on Patreon you are helping to ensure that I have the resources avilable to go and pickup any new expansions or Paradox developed games to create new mods.
Tiers
Backer
$2 or more per month
This tier is the basic backing level  and comes with access to all content produced for Patreon. This includes a direct download to the mod, access to all feature deep dives, and a monthly poll to determine development direction for future mods.

Thank you for your interest.

Monthly feature deep dive
$20 or more per month
For backers at this level I will take the time to do a feature deep dive on one feature in any Paradox game each month. If you've ever wanted to know why the AI or game does something in a specific way this is the tier for you.
A compatibility patch (Major)
$100 or more per month
I will develop a compatibility patch for one of my mods to work with another mod. I will maintain the patch for one calendar year. This patch will be made available to everyone through steam and credit you as the person who made this patch happen.

This tier is for a major compatibility patch between one of my mods and another that modifies a large amount of objects. You should ask through Patreon if a mod needs a major compatibility patch as I'll do minor ones for free.

8 development hours a month
$200 or more per month
Have an idea for a mod or a series of events but don't know how to program it? At this tier I'll develop your mod. Spending up to 8 hours a month working with you through Steam or Discord to create the mod.

Be aware you will need to provide all content for the mod. For example all text displayed in an event, all custom ship assets, and any other content you would like to include.

This tier does not offer ongoing mod support but will leave you with highly documented code and at least a basic understanding of how to maintain the mod going forwards.
