Goldhart Group; let us tell you a story.

What We Do

Goldhart aims to provide D&D fans with quality content every week while maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Live session streams are our bread and butter, with two full campaigns - Waterdeep: Dragon Heist [Playlist] and Curse of Strahd [Playlist] - currently in progress, as well as a weekly fantasy art stream - Brushes & Broadswords  - and much more to come!

Supporting Goldhart and enjoying our content is its own reward, right? Wrong! There are lots of benefits in becoming a Patreon member, including exclusive access to character backstories and history, exclusive merch, to join us for oneshots and guest stars. If that's not reason enough, know that your contributions are going directly towards producing new Goldhart streams, podcasts and merchandise, and allowing our talented cast and DMs to dedicate more time to do what they do best - telling you a story.

What’s On Now?

Waterdeep: Dragon Heist - Biweekly Saturdays 4pm (GMT) / 11am (EST)

DM: Keeven Players: Leoni, Sam, Tahina, Justin, Marsie & Jason

The grand metropolis of Waterdeep, jewel of Faerun’s western coast, is a place where anything can happen. Brought to the City of Splendors by the winding machinations of fate, six individuals are brought together by various motivations, though all are connected in one way or another.

Stern, proud Darksong Knight of Eilistraee, the drow Lael’essthrae of House Torviir is charged with improving her surface-dwelling family’s standing amongst the highborn of Waterdeep. With her travels the mysterious and shy halfling Renly Rollinghill, a powerful warlock tormented by an enigmatic and malicious presence.

Down-on-their-luck mercenaries Owen Blackthorn, a human marksman with a talent for getting into trouble and his stalwart sergeant, the minotaur Atrius Kroatis are two men in debt to the dreaded crime syndicate, the Xanathar, and with little option but to take any work they can find.

Joining them is the plucky and flirtatious half-elf Xanthe Quinn, inventor extraordinaire and her younger brother, Xyrin, an apprentice of the famed Black Staff Tower and incorrigible liar, each with their own reasons to seek out fame and fortune.

Together these unlikely companions are plunged into what seems to be a simple rescue mission, though quickly becomes an adventure that not one of them could have anticipated.

Curse of Strahd - Mondays 7pm (GMT) / 2pm (EST)

DM: Leoni Players: Sam, Tahina, Anne, Nate & Jason

In the sinister, mist-shrouded kingdom of Barovia, life is short, grim and brutal. Ruled by the powerful vampire Lord Strahd, Barovia’s people live isolated existences under the constant threat of attack by monsters and beasts both mundane and fantastical. For two natives of this land, everything they had taken for granted is about to be called into question.

The taciturn Gerhardt, a town guard from nearby settlement of Vallaki, stumbles upon the ruins of an old manor whilst patrolling the dangerous roads. Here he encounters the cantankerous old hermit Woldemar, but despite their instant distrust their attentions are quickly stolen by something neither could have expected.

Emerging from the impenetrable mists surrounding the manor, three figures in dress and manners most unusual appear. Two cheery halflings; Amastaviella, cunning and nimble priestess of Yondalla and Finny Maguire, hunter of the Ratcatchers Guild, have been led by the kindly old wizard Gwydion the Guide, seemingly by mistake, into the eternal twilight of Barovia.

Whether brought together by fate, chance or the machinations of much darker forces, Gerhardt and Woldemar must find a way to return these lost companions to their homeland of Faerun. To do so they must confront not only the horrors and dangers of Barovia and its master but also face their own fears, faults and temptations.

And always, just beyond the peripheries of the fog, lurks the fearsome and unstoppable Mistflayer...

Tylvein: Legacy of Eldrin - (Sunday 4pm (GMT) / 11pm (EST)

DM: Derek Players: Leoni, Jason, Natalie, Nate & Kannah

Some secrets can't stay buried forever, and the most devastating of them will reshape the world. This world is Tylvein, a plane in the midst of a widespread renaissance, where magic and alchemy are commonplace and new developments in clockwork machinery are forging the future in brass and iron. Standing at the precipice of industrial revolution and a new age of invention, schools of talented duelists, universities for new mages and hidden guilds of thieves and assassins all find new ways to ply their timeless trades.

This plane could not be more rife with possibility, but a dark conspiracy seeks to undo it all. Nobles, mages, commoners; no one is safe once the Legacy of Eldrin fulfilled. An ancient wrath stirs beneath a web of intrigue that threatens to change the whole multiverse.

Teetering unaware on the brink of this impending disaster, six destinies intertwine. On the eve of a historic treaty, grand festivities begin in the city of Creekvale. Unbeknownst to all however, a shadow looms over this joyous occasion...

About the Cast

Founded in 2017 by a small group of hand-picked players, we are committed to enjoyable, quality entertainment alongside the spontaneous and unpredictable gameplay of D&D. Seasoned role-players all, Goldhart wishes to bring you the very best in story-driven gaming with a surprise or two thrown in every session. Meet our cast below:

Leoni (UK) Founder/DM/PlayerTwitter

Madame chair. Mistress of making improv look easy and DM of horror. Has a habit of rolling stoic paladins or playing eccentric divas. Freelance graphic designer and marketer. Made all the overlays and logos.

Keeven (Canada) DMTwitter

Professionally a glazier by trade for money, storyteller and DM for love and passion. Hails from the Great Snowy North!

Derek (USA) DM - Twitter

Master and Archmage of The Mage College, now with an Otherworldly Pact with Goldhart Gaming fresh off an oven in the Nine Hells. Linguist by day, game designer by night, storyteller and actor by appointment.

Tahina (Germany) PlayerTwitter

Works as a counselor for an information centre for the elderly, care dependent and people with disabilities. As an ardent TTRPG enthusiast she ‘moonlights’ as DM, vampire hunter, tomb raider or planes traveler - or whichever role co-operative storytelling is calling for next.

Sam (UK) Player Twitter

Storyteller and world-builder at heart, aspires to own his own book farm. Inventor of the barbarian’s anti-air fishing rod and purveyor of accents most debatable.

Nate (USA) PlayerTwitter

As the first human-turtle hybrid, this solitary introvert occasionally pokes his head out of his shell to play D&D with his friends. He plays the elderly human wizard, Gwydion, which is good practice for when Nate inevitably becomes an eccentric old coot himself.

Marsie (USA) Twitter
DM for The Owl of Lysia, operator on the Phantom Rollbooth, and character artist for Goldhart Group's Waterdeep Dragonheist. A charming Arkus who creates unique narratives.

Justin (Canada) PlayerTwitter

Justin of Canada-land, 4th of his name, King of nothing and no one, Adventurer of the Great White North, Enjoyer of all things nerd, Conjurer of cheap tricks, Father of Pugs, Husband to the moon of his life.

Jason (UK) PlayerTwitter

Proud Yorkshireman and fanatical convert of Bielsaball. Crafter of the word and joker most foul, whose attempts at accents often leave him in need of minor throat surgery after each session.

Natalie (Canada) PlayerTwitter
Constantly playing the part of mischief causing rogue, regardless of the game or situation. Often found cosplaying whatever character she is playing as an excuse to buy more wigs.

Kannah (USA) Player -Twitter

Head Curator of the Mage College, freelance artist and illustrator with a knack for playing fantasy ne'er-do-wells, befriending the villain, and failing to roll below a 10.

Dom (Germany) - Twitter
Teacher of history, politics and other things by day, gamer by night, Dom is a long-time RPG aficionado, having played many systems and a myriad of characters. He jumped at the chance to join the cast of Goldhart’s Curse of Strahd and has played a sword-loving teenage nerd with questionable cooking skills ever since. Inventor of the fire-boiled ash potato, a Barovian national treasure
