Poetry is a tough sell.

I don't write mainstream work. What I write is difficult to read. It's painful. It's honest, and angry, and makes people uncomfortable.

I think that that is the mark of successful poetry. If it doesn't make you feel, doesn't make you think, then it lacks purpose.

I have been lucky to find a publisher, B Cubed Press, that is supportive of my work. But even with a publisher, poetry doesn't pay the bills.

I have to work for a living. I have to live. I have to write. And since the installation of Putin's Pawn in the White House, I have to devote all of my spare time and energy to Resisting. It's exhausting, y'all.

By supporting me here on Patreon, you are easing the burden. You are helping me pay the bills, and allowing me more freedom to write, more time to create, more room to explore.
And for that, I thank you.

I promise to give you work that will make you think, make you feel, make you want to act.

Poetry is a bridge between people, a link between minds and hearts. I will give you mine, if you will have it.

Viva la Resistance!
