My name is John, and I write under the name of Harrison K. Hall for Kvasir Amongst the Gods and GE3KL1F3 at Wordpress, as well as Two-Way Bifrost over at at Witches and Pagans. Most of my blogging, to date, has been about my religion (Norse Polytheism), and for good reason; I have a lot of passion for my faith. I am, however, more than that. All people are. We are more than Pagans, Christians, Jews, Musslims, Atheists, Buddhists, and everything else. We are complex creatures, and that's the long and short of it. In addition to talking about my faith, I'd like to also talk about the other things that interest me. Parenthood. Writing. Popculture.

I believe that religious people can be more than two dimensional archetypes, that stand up and shout across the isles at each other over imagined insults and slights. We are better than that and, just as relevant, we are more than that. At first, I though I had to keep my theological beliefs and views separate from my recreational hobbies. The world of contemporary pop-culture is very antagonistic to theology these days. Further, there are stereotypes that exist out there that I am loathe to propigate even by association; my worship of Loki has nothing to do with Tom Hiddleston, just as my enjoyment of his acting has nothing to do with my faith.

I want to write about all these things, and that's what my Patreon campaign is going to be about. Which is where you come in. If you like the things I write, if you believe in the message I put forth, or even if you just want to see an part-time writer get the cash together to be a full-time writer? Consider become my sponsor. Whether you sponsor me or not I'm still going to be writing, but your support allows me to write more frequently as well as take on other projects.

Every week (from Monday 12:00am until Sunday 11:59pm) where I produce two pieces or more of content is what Patreon is going to pay me for. This way, you never have to worry about how much I'm going to cost you, because you'll have a very clear idea about what your donation may or may not mean. If that's not enough, you can specify donation caps with the Patreon site...so you'll never be donating more than you plan to.

Thank you for taking the time to look me over.

* Access to my patron stream.  This will give you access to a list of all of the material I'm producing each week.  Also, this is where I will regularly tell you how amazing you all are.  Who cares what you did?  You're just awesome!
* My eternal thanks, both for giving me the capacity to pursue work that speaks to me personally as well as the unspoken compliment that comes with being financially supported due to someone's apparent appreciation for that work.
* Once a month, I'll do a live chat via a to be determined method (probably Google Hangouts, but I'm keeping my options open).  Ask questions!  Catalyze interesting discussions!  Ask me about my favorite recipes!  Whatever happens, happens!  Afterwards, the transcripts will be made public.
* Have a Heathen or Polytheistic topic that you want to see talked about?  Want a review on a particular game?  Have an unrelated topic you want me to ramble about?  While I keep final approval on the topic in question of course, I'll be willing to research and discuss just about any subject you provide so long as it feels worth writing about.  I'll be doing a "patron submitted" topic once a week, going down the line of my patrons at this level (and higher), and getting their topics one by one in the order of their patronage.  When I get to the end of the list?  I start over.
* Advance information on anything else I'm working on.  This can include, but is not limited to, books, big projects, and notification of any event I am going to be at.
* Provide me with your address and birthday, and I went send you my personal birthday wishes on your birthday via mail.  If you choose to show me this kind of support, it's the least I can do!  If you hate your birthday, pick a day of your choice and I'll send you a thank you card on that day.
