Thank you for coming to my page! I hope you're here because you enjoy the work I produce and want to create your own stop motion videos!
My name is Hasani Walker, an animator and artists who has worked on many personal projects along with working at Studios like Laika (Coraline, Kubo, Missing Link) and Shadow Machine Studios (Bojack Horseman, The Shivering Truth). I'm here because I love making strange, dark, and fun animated stories.
I've been working on my own projects for all of my life and I've had a lot of errors before actually achieving what I wanted. These projects not only include stop motion but CG, 2D, sculpting, molds, make up, writing, and more. I have a lot of knowledge to share and I'm still gaining more! With this Patreon page I'm not only hoping to help fund more animated episodes of my web series "My Bedroom Door", but also connect with people who want to get into animation, be it at a studio or just for your own projects!
I'm hoping to get more people interested in the medium of Stop Motion. With studios like Laika and Aardman producing films, more people are becoming interested in this technique. However, Stop Motion has an on going stigma of being the hardest form of animation. I've found this to only be true if you don't know how to do it. In fact, working with CG and stop motion has had the same amount of triumphs and difficulties. I want to let you know my thoughts on this artform, animation, filming, and hopefully help you start or at least think about doing your own animations.
Along with this, Patreon allows animators to get funding to create more with the help of viewers like you! I want to make weekly episodes available of my animated web stories with each season and eventually have the ability to hire a crew and produce other shows. Your help goes to building puppets, sets, and creating a world for these characters to exist in.
Not only will you help to create more compelling stories, you also get behind the scenes access, first look at episodes, announcements on coming projects, first look at artwork, and more as this page grows.
You get to see episodes of My Bedroom Door and any other show and shorts a week before the public. You'll get a password to a Vimeo page to watch the episode. When I produce any shorts for festivals those will be available to patrons once it's completed and to the public only after the films festival run. as for tutorial videos, you get those a day before the public.
Every bit helps and I greatly appreciate all of you that want to support the work I do! So I hope you'll become a Patron!
For now, take a look at some episodes of My Bedroom Door.
starting with entry one!
