If someone would have told me three years ago that the HelloGreedo YouTube Channel would someday reach 74,000 subscribers and over 10 million views, I would have laughed. It seemed ridiculous at the time. After all, I was just making videos about a topic that I was passionate about. I quickly came to realize that millions of people around the globe share that same passion. Star Wars mends cultural gaps, it crosses oceans, and binds the world together with a shared affection. To all of my past, current, and future subscribers, I say thank you.

I just want to make it clear that the HelloGreedo YouTube Channel will never charge for content. Free is, and always will be, the name of the game. No, you won't be lining my pockets. No, I won't be leaning over a comical bag of money like some evil genius from a cartoon. Everything contributed will directly go to support the channel’s growth and quality. I have large ambitions for the HelloGreedo channel. I’d like to start shooting scenes out and about around my city, get solid audio equipment to continue the podcast endeavor, get better and permanent studio lighting, when the new Star Wars Battlefront comes out I plan on running a large server for the HelloGreedo community to play on, I have even been discussing a documentary idea with a few friends, and the list goes on and on of goals I have for the channel.

What will your contribution be used for?

• Equipment needed for future projects that I am simply unable to produce using the materials I currently have.
• Audio / Video effects - Many of my videos use royalty-free sound effects, music, and video effects that I purchase. These items can be costly. The truth is, I spend more money monthly on my channel than I receive from ads or shirt/sticker sales. This is true for most YouTubers. Obviously, I have no problem dishing out cash to make content, but your contribution would allow me to include better effects and audio in my videos! Hell, as I type this I just bought $51 worth of muzzle flash video effects and music for Inside Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith. Hint: There is a gun battle.
• A larger web presence - It's no secret, I want the HelloGreedo YouTube Channel to grow! I have never tried an advertising campaign, but I would love to run a few ads around the net and see what happens. The channel has grown organically thus far; word of mouth, friends sending a video to one another, and YouTube recommended videos have all played a large role. But as Anakin Skywalker once said (Am I really quoting the prequels?), "I want more...but I know I shouldn't." Oh, and when the new Star Wars Battlefront comes out, I plan on buying a server for all of the HelloGreedo fans to play in together! A larger web presence doesn't only mean future endeavors, it also means keeping current systems up and running.
