I'm fortunate to know a lot of fascinating atheists and religious thinkers and I would love to interview them for a series of regular podcasts. The money here would go toward buying the necessary equipment to make it a quality-sounding interview among other things.

There are certain topics that aren't covered as much as I'd like to see on the website, mostly because my writers and I don't have the expertise needed to cover them. If we reached this goal, I would love to bring on additional writers, in various niches, who can contribute posts on a regular basis. (*NOTE*: I have already begun doing this slowly with the revenue so far, but the more money Patreon brings in, the more contributors I can bring on.)

Make the podcast more professional

Thanks to your support, I've started a podcast and learned some of the basics. Now, it's time to ramp it up to the next level. I'd like to purchase equipment that will enable mobile interviews (with terrific sound quality), develop a professional website for the endeavor, and turn it into a stand-alone project (rather than just a side project of the website).

Buy Equipment to Make More Frequent/Current YouTube Videos

Right now, the Atheist Voice videos on YouTube are made by traveling to a videographer's home (where there's good equipment/lighting/microphones). The videos are made in batches and few of them are time-sensitive for that reason. I would love to purchase the equipment to film the videos in my own home. That would allow for more frequent videos, including ones on current events, with a much faster turnaround time.

New Book: A compilation of Atheist Voice transcripts

I would love to clean up several of the transcripts I've written for Atheist Voice videos and put them together in a book of short essays. If I can hit this goal, I can make the book's price as low as possible on Amazon.

Commission longform pieces

There are several articles I've wanted to write (or want others to write for the site) that require research and/or travel. These would be lengthier pieces that don't need to rely on pageviews to make up what they cost to develop. I would love to run one of these per month and pay the writers something worthwhile for their contributions. (This may take more or less money that the milestone suggests, but I'll adjust it as necessary.)

Create an online magazine

I would love to curate periodic collections of longform articles about atheism-related topics. This would involve paying writers, editing the pieces, hiring a designer to make it all look beautiful, and setting up a system where people could order the final product.
