A new hand-drawn page design is made available for cancer patients and their families each week during their hospital stay. The PlayHouse project takes time and resources, and your support will make a real difference.

The artist is a full-time student of Education and Psychology who battled breast cancer at age 31 through 2016. In that time she conceived and illustrated Companion, a not-for-profit patient resource published by UnitingCare health for St Andrew's War Memorial hospital. After attending Arterie workshops at the Lifehouse hospital and discovering their Carterie initiative she was inspired to contribute to their services and now spends all the time she can find on the PlayHouse heal in colour project.

Vision

I would love to travel from hospital to hospital providing new quality artwork and resources for patients to enjoy and heal through. At the end of the term with each hospital they would have a collection of my donated artwork to circulate at their leisure and even sell in book form to raise funds for their patient care services and complementary therapies. I will soon be reaching out to Sydney's children's hospital network.
