Hi there! My name is Alex, and I am one of the co-founders of Two Scoop games, a two-person independent game studio based out of Louisville, Kentucky. I have been dedicated to improving the game development scene in our city and that dedication led me and my friends to start Louisville Makes Games, a non-profit which advocates for gamedev careers, and Warp Zone Louisville, our own physical gamedev space.

What is Instant Unity?
Unity3D has done a fantastic job of bringing professional-level game development tools to everyone, but getting started or fixing an unexpected issue can be tough – that’s where Instant Unity comes in!

I am collecting tips from and for both experts and beginners, to create a varied and useful catalogue of short videos with the goal of helping people of all skill levels get the most out of the Unity3D game engine.

Where will the series live?
All videos will be free and available to the public on YouTube, so supporters on patreon will be funding this project entirely. Subscribe to Instant Unity on Youtube

When will videos be released?
With your support, I will be able to produce free videos on a consistent weekly, basis – the goal being a new tip every Friday.

Why does Instant Unity exist?
There are 3 main reasons Instant Unity exists.

Unique Format:
The difference between Instant unity and other video tutorials is that we get straight to the point – no intro, no “like, comment, and subscribe,” just a quick bite-sized piece of information delivered in a clear and concise way, every time.

Furthering the indie game community:
I want more people to be able to express themselves through the medium of games. Breaking down barriers so more people can achieve more with their creations, and so more diverse voices can create and improve the indie game development community.

Supporting the creator:
The indie gamedev community is in my opinion, second to none in encouraging and supporting each other while creating the weirdest, most beautiful, and most meaningful artistic expression and experiences I can imagine. This patreon will help support not only the video series but also help me fund future game projects of my own.
