Jordan Owen is a writer, musician, and blogger. As a self-identified Left Libertarian he speaks regularly on matters relating to personal liberty, the arts, and various cultural interests.
His first novel, Eros Empire, was published in 2012 by BearManor Fiction and his band Leaving Babylon released it's debut in 2014. He is the creator and operator of www.youtube.com/jordanowen42. He is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and currently resides in Atlanta, GA.

What is JO42 Productions?
JO42 Productions is a film studio founded by YouTube blogger Jordanowen42 in 2015. Our first film, The Sarkeesian Effect: Inside the World of Social Justice Warriors, is now available for rental and purchase through Vimeo at: https://vimeo.com/ondemand/thesarkeesianeffect
Why did you start JO42 Productions?
I've been blogging as a semi-professional hobby since 2006, which has allowed me to contribute to discussions and comment on current events in a wide variety of areas, as well as share my music and writing with a larger audience.
In 2014 I had the idea to branch into documentary film as the next step in my content creation and did so with The Sarkeesian Effect, a documentary which looked at the controversy surrounding Social Justice politics in gaming.
Wasn't The Sarkeesian Effect made by a different organization?
It started out that way. The film began work under a different masthead but post-production and release were completed by JO42 Productions.
Hey! I started to contribute to this page when it was just for The Sarkeesian Effect! What gives? Am I about to be charged for something new?
No. This page is currently in transition- when it comes time to request crowd funding for our next project, all current backers will be removed and given the opportunity to return to fund the new project so that there can be no question that they are on board for it.
