Together, WE will rescue a child from poverty through Compassion International
No matter how much or little you pledge to my videos, you will be a part of rescuing a child out of poverty through the organization called Compassion International. Compassion is one of my favorite charities because it provides medical check-ups, nutritious food, healthy and hygiene training, educational assistance, mentoring, and the opportunity for these kids to hear about Jesus.
"In response to the Great Commission, Compassion International exists as an advocate for children, to release them from their spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enable them to become responsible and fulfilled Christian adults."
Together we can not only change a child's life forever, but also be a part of that child's life as well. We can write letters, send a receive pictures, and get consistent updates on how our child doing.

My name is Jackie. Some people know me as Jackie G, some know me as Jax, and some might just know me as that one girl that always talks about dolphins and coffee and Friends. The point is, if you're on this site, thank you for caring about what I have to say :)
Far too many times we have something to say, but fear keeps us from speaking up. Or sometimes our voice feels like background noise and it simply doesn’t matter. So, I'm hoping to change that...
What I Do
For over 5 years now, I have been creating videos on YouTube. When I found Jesus in November of 2014, my whole world transformed. Recently I have felt called to transition my videos into a series called 'Coffee Chats with Jax'. The vision I saw when I first created the series was a platform for me to be able to first and foremost spread the Gospel, but also give people someone that they can relate to. I want my videos to have a 100% family atmosphere, and 100% vulnerability. But instead of me asking the questions first and expecting my viewers and patrons to put down their walls right away, I share the deepest, most personal parts of my story to start in these videos. By me sharing real issues that I have experienced, both before and after I started following Christ, it opens up a segway for them to know that they are not alone, and they can share too both with me and with their own families and communities. I want to destroy the illusion that we need to have ourselves together in order to be okay and accepted and good. I think that the only way to do that is to use the platform that I have when I get in front of the camera to express the things that I struggle with, and to NEVER pretend that I’m perfect. But it doesn’t stop there. I know that my purpose for making these videos is to spread the Gospel and show people what Jesus is teaching me, and how loved we all really are. So once I tell the stories from my past, I tie EVERYTHING in the end to Jesus and how these struggles and mistakes have been used to point me to Him, and grow me closer and closer in relationship with God. With that being the main point, these videos are a way to construct a community via the internet. However, this goes beyond the online platform. I am hoping my videos and communication with my viewers will also help guide and inspire them to have healthy, Jesus centered communities in their everyday lives as well.

Since my videos are about constructing community, spreading the Gospel, and learning how to follow Christ, the donations that are received are meant for more than just supporting me. At every milestone crossed, we will, as a coffee chats family, decide where to give a portion of the money. For example, right now at every $250 mark we cross we then adopt a new child from compassion international. We have our first child, Lenny, and am working towards raising enough for a second. Once we grow, I hope to then incorporate different non profit like organizations to support monthly with the coffee chats funds. So in the end, it becomes a type of non-profit for non- profits. Supporting my videos is in a way, like supporting a modern day missionary.
