About

I draw comics, play video games, and collect toys. In spite of this I've managed to remain single.  Can you belive it?

My 3DS friend code is 3909-7997-3526  if you add me and tell me your code I WILL play video games with you.  Especially Animal Crossing: New Leaf, at the moment.  I play at random times when I'm not on the road, or working on the comic.

My WiiU Nintendo Network thingy is BetweenFailures.  Again, I will interact with you in whatever way Nintendo will allow, which is not a lot as far as I can tell.  Still, if there is something I have that can be connected to, feel free.

I've got and Xbox 360, but I don't have the paid online stuff, so about the only thing you can do is message me, and since I can't really play with anyone I forget that it exists.  I'm pretty sure the name is BetweenFailures on that too, so add me if you like and don't mind getting replies after two years or so.  Which I have done...

Between Failures is a slice-of-life webcomic following the (somewhat under-motivated and decidedly sarcastic) staff of a chain store. The primary protagonist is Thomas Blackwell, but it cuts to follow many members of the staff. It’s often compared to clerks. (It’s actually a lot more like Empire Records, which the author totally suggests you see.) The main focus are the characters and the shenanigans they come up with to keep themselves entertained.

If you've ever had a job where you felt abandoned by the people in charge you'll feel right at home with these people. They're just looking for something meaningful to do in the times between.

The comic doesn't get real heavy, or try to beat you over the head with a message.  It's just the adventures of some fun people.  You might find some wisdom sprinkled in here and there though.

I also use the comic blog as a journal of my life, and dumping ground for extra thoughts not necessarily related to the comic.  A lot of people seem to enjoy them as much as the comic itself.
