Hello to all! My name is Jake Savard, also known as JakeClipz, and welcome to my Patreon page!

For any and all newcomers, I create web cartoons, most of which are episodes of my ongoing series "JakeClipz", a dumb comedy all about a group of friends trying not to get killed or kill each other in a large variety of misadventures. This isn't the peak of what I'd like to do with my animation career, but for the time being it makes for a solid bread and butter and I'm both proud of what I made so far, and excited to make more episodes in the future; one of which is linked on this very page, just as a point of reference. I'll let you decide if it's worth your time, and if it is, keep on reading!

So, why Patreon?

YouTube and animators have had a very spotty history for the past several years. Outside of primitive/minimalist animation that's more about the creator than their work, cartoons that don't come from large-scale corporations just can't sustain themselves with the current YouTube algorithms. You've likely seen this time and time again with a multitude of other animators too. And I, like so many others, need a helping hand if I want to make a living doing what I love. Thus, Patreon.

Currently, this page is in its early developmental stages. I'm still in the process of making tiers, rewards, proper livestream schedules and Discord servers, and even promotional material to make this the best launch it can possibly be. Anything before that is a soft-launch at best, and I'll be perfectly transparent when I say that.
As is, I can't promise anything, and this page really only exists to lay down the bare essentials for the future, so if you happen to come across this page on your own, I can't promise anything in exchange for your support. If you happen to want to support me regardless of compensation, then I greatly appreciate it, but by no means am I expecting anything just yet. That comes later. If you like what you see just in terms of my content, I'd at least like to request that you keep tabs on me for future reference, that much I would thank you to the moon and back for.

Until then though, stay tuned, and thank you for tuning in!
