Hey! or Hello!

Welcome to my Patreon Site!

Would you be willing to help me out - so that other youthworkers, ministers and volunteers can benefit from resources, reflections and ideas for youth work and ministry practice?

I do hope so.

If you are reading this, and you have read or benefitted from my other site
Learning from the Streets you will know that I produce articles, ideas and think pieces for the field of detached youth work and youth ministry for over 6 years. I am a qualified faith based youthworker with experience in detached youthwork, management, schools and community work. As well as writing, I also do consultancy where I deliver training, lectures, supervision and other work for churches, organisations and colleges. I am keen as you might realise to make helpful contributions to the ongoing practice of youthwork in the UK and beyond and so..

Supporting me via Patreon will help me to do three things

The first is that it will encourage me in developing my writing, and support me personally financially.
The second is that you will support others who read and benefit, as I will still make most of my pieces free to access via 'Learning from the Streets'- so you by supporting me you benefit others
The third is that becoming a member will help me to reach and achieve goals - you can see these on the page. With your support I can offer training for free to churches or organisations who may not be able to afford it. Indirectly it will be you making that investment in developing youth work in the UK and young people in the UK.

The benefits to you of becoming a member are that:

You receive my articles earlier than everyone - get chance to comment, ask questions or make suggestions of them
You receive my articles and ideas without the adverts elsewhere, thus making sure that I and not the web host benefits
You also get some exclusive content, chance to contribute, polls and maybe some behind the scenes pieces, and experiments I might try for video content.

So- for £3 a month - what are you waiting for?

Thank you to all who have signed up so far, help me support others, and support youthwork in the UK and beyond.

James
