James Wappelis creating tutorials for painting miniatures and terrain

I will create at least one of these every month which will be available to all the patrons (in addition to the other types of tutorials that will be for the new higher pledge levels).
This is the same as what a $5+ pledge provided for several months... just more official!
This will show you the variety of sculpting processes that I use.
Watercolors, oils and pastels were favorite mediums, and for a while I taught seminars and individual classes in that 2D art world. In 2001, I entered the world of Miniature Painting, and I have been applying all that earlier traditional art knowledge to painting tiny miniatures!
This had given me a unique perspective and approach to Miniature Painting, which has been constantly evolving and changing. It was not long into this 3D journey that I began to teach folks how to paint minis in this traditional art method.
In 2013, the Painting Pyramid kickstarter campaign led to the creation of dozens of painting videos, showcasing techniques that I had been showing in tutorial form on my Painting blog, which I had started the previous year. Here is a link to my blog: http://wappellious.blogspot.com
Since then, I have made thousands of blog post tutorials and countless live painting classes.
This all requires a tremendous amount of time and effort, at least 2-4 hours per day (aside from all the normal work that I do). I want to expand on these classes in the form of Facebook live painting sessions, among other things. In order to take the teaching and instruction to the next level, I will need the assistance of those who follow the blog and my other social media outlets.
Patreon could help to provide more types of figures, tools, etc., which are needed to pass on these lessons that I learn every day!!
If I reach this goal, I will add a second Dark Sword figure each month as part of the Dark Sword painting series! That means that more figures will be available for the $100 pledge level, where you get a "hard copy" version of the video on a USB drive, as well as the figure itself! More will be added as additional goals are met
