About Jason Watmore

My name is Jason Watmore, I'm a web developer and blogger from Sydney Australia. I began my career as a programmer in 1998 during the dot-com boom and have loved coding ever since.

I created the blog  JasonWatmore.com in 2011 to share tutorials, code samples and boilerplate projects to solve real-world web development problems. The tutorials I publish are concise and focused on code, structure and functionality, I try my best not to include any fluff or useless information.

Initially started as a fun hobby, the blog has grown over the years into a passion, I find it extremely rewarding to contribute to the web development community and connect with other devs from all over the world. At the moment I spend most of my free time working on the blog, but my goal/dream is to be able to work full-time on writing tutorials.

As my patron you will be giving me more time to work on my blog, bringing me closer to the goal of working full-time on web development tutorials and real-world code samples to share with the web dev community.

By becoming a patron your name will be added to the thankyou list on the about page of my blog.

Thanks for your support! :)
