I've been performing and creating original art and music for the last 20yrs.
You can help me by contributing a weekly or monthly payment between $1 & $10 per week.
You can also just make a one time payment but you must cancel your payments after that, or whatever you paid will come out of your bank account weekly or monthly.

I have a beautiful ongoing-project on the rise. I've created something special and unique to do with my personal funding I receive from you here on Patreon. The contributions I recieve from you are going towards a non profit portable recording studio work station. These creative, portable studios can be set up anywhere in the world, & integrated to create collaborations & form more intimate relationships between artists.

I'm setting up this non profit business to help support the creative sides of communities around the world and get a collaborative buzz happening. These recording workstations set up in different areas of the world and people will be able to share and collaborate their cultural music with each other. Check out this beautifulvideo from Playing For Change to help you get alongside my heart and imagination http://youtu.be/4xjPODksI08
I hope it will reach 189 cites.

Thank you for your support!

(If you want to know more then please continue reading, or else stop here as the rest is rather long for a crowd funding campaign).

Personally, I can get by financially with busking day to day playing my original music on streets corners, markets and a few festivals, but to fulfil this dream I really need your help just to get the first workstation off the ground, from there I'll be hiring out the workstation to various customers in the Australian music industry to generate funds for a second workstation that I plan to set up in New Zealand because that's where I was born and I know us kiwis love to create.
The portable workstations can be also hired out to gigs, bands and artists wanting to record live works, community and council events, and also festivals are a few great options.
By helping to create the first workstation future workstations can be payed for by it's predecessor. This formula means it's compounding which Einstein quoted "the power of compounding as being the eighth wonder of the world".

If you want to know more details about it then please continue reading the "nuts n bolts" after this section, otherwise just click on the "become a patron" button on the top left of the screen on my homepage. Choose an amount, and I'll keep you posted and up to date with my ongoing progress, and there are also a few small perks on the side, but that's not why your supporting my music or my venture is it.

(Patreon encourages a reward system which I'm thinking about the best way to approach this, because this as this collective project grows & spreads it will change the present situation dramatically i.e new collaborative music gets created between artists and I can then give a sample to you to listen to before anybody else, or a band uses it to record their concert and offers one of their songs to share with you. So don't worry, any changes in the rewards I've set up can only get better. So in general It's purely your support I'm asking for, support for me as a full time musician and support for this project. Your perks will be in the outcome of the cause - Supporting our local and worldwide musicians and artists before profit. Helping form a collaborative and world wide collective of creative content and keeping it in the hands of the creators. Helping by become a part of a solution to inequality and lack of opportunity that others not unlike ourselves incur time to time.

Art & music has helped formed and recorded our histories and our present, so let's help ourselves by putting some effort with ease on securing our future world wide.

Da Nuts n Bolts

Hi & welcome. I have created a mini portable recording studio & want your help to start it up. I've designed the most modern, up to date, compact, portable recording studio workstation that rivals the favourable DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software in every major recording studio in the world. I'm launching it on a small scale in and around The Pacific region for a year before expanding, unless it takes off beforehand. I can realistically assess the pros & cons of it's real world applications in recording live before I taken globally to 7 other countries.

As a professional street performing for the past 18yrs I have been pressed through the grinder on every major& minor scale ^^ I've experienced the starkest realities of the art & music industry, and I've also had the most amazing experiences and opportunities. Im working as a solo artist full time and get to work with people from all over the world on a regular basis. I always put in the extra mile, not only because I think I have to showcase my talents as a New Zealander, but also as a human willing to share and collaborate with others, or else I'll have to suffer the consequences by getting a "real job" for "the man" and potentially lose my calling as a travelling musician. (lmao)...Never.

The Portable Workstation - Aside from being portable recording workstation, one of the most useful features is recording live it's ability to produce a mastered CD directly after a live performance, and it's capable of sending the finished recording as a file to other artists to collaborate with before final production. Recording performers from solo artist to bands, festivals through to concerts. It can produce a CD that can be sold by the artists on the same day as they performed, or the next day, offering an easy way for artists to bring their fans back for an autograph session or for a QnA the next day before he or she has to head off to their next destination. What a great way to get to know and grow your fan base and to become more intimate. Potentially a portable recording studio has a great opportunity for demand. It can be hired out or sold as a unit.

A portable recording studio vs a DAW enabled studio.
Thanks to technology the quality of a portable studio that has the right gear can produce a sound that can match a regular studio, and may even change a few minds of DAW sworn sound engineers about final product quality. Every form of recording has it's pro and cons depending on the genre and type of situation needed for recording. A portable recording studio can go where fixed studios can't, and the recording can also be transferred to a DAW studio for re-editing if wanted.

Heres a few of the key features:
- Its portable. Standing just over 1metre high when closed on wheels.
- Charge your unit via a solar panel for long sessions festivals and outdoor gigs.
- It can be run by one person, but we all know it's better with more.
- It's customisable. To suit the vast variety of music genres and aesthetic tastes.
- Record your music immediately on to CD or save as a file to your computer for future editing.
- Combine the studios to form and create collective collaborations.
- Print the graphics for your CD easily with the onboard CD printer.
- Direct instrument and microphone inputs or record any event or performance live.
- Easy to use. Learn to produce a CD in a short amount of time.
- Seamlessly loop your music tracks before applying it to the main mixing desk.
- Run multiple leads from the front stage to the side stage & record every instrument in one go.

The advantages of a portable recording workstation become clearer. It can be used as a recording service, hired by bands and musicians or sold as a unit. It does not cater for every type of music genre because the basic fact is that every kind of recording medium has it's limits. But being portable definitely opens up the playing field to scenarios that are outside the realm of a fixed seconding studio. Artists no longer have to make studio time, the studio comes to them or stays with them. Live open air concert events and festivals can finally be recorded with little effort.

You can help by becoming a patron to a fabulous idea that provides a medium to get people together and leaving a beautiful legacy to our future generations. Ive set up loads of rewards for all my patrons with more continually being added, just to say an extra thank you and to show you how grateful I am for your support. But remember that's the last reason why you want to contribute.

So hop onboard before it's "too late" & you end up at a concert in Germany, or a Flamenco festival in Spain and you see this workstation recording the entire event, and you think to yourself "bugger, I could of went without that extra coffee a week!" :) Support the artists who support the artists supporting our beautiful world.

Love, light & blessings.
