Thank you for following and supporting us.  We are beginning a new chapter of our pottery and ceramic arts journey and are excited to share what we create!
Jennifer: About 20 years ago I started pottery classes at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and earned my B.A. in Art. Pottery became my passion and after moving back to Anchorage I was determined to keep creating.  I am inspired by nature, textures, and other art forms like origami.
Newly: I have been working with clay for about 3 years and enjoy every opportunity I have to work with clay. I enjoy making functional pieces, experimenting with clay, glazes and the many facets involved.
We had to put pottery on hold after moving from Alaska to Washington until we could find a permanent home and put our studio together, but we are up and running once again after a long couple of years.  To celebrate, we are posting our first glaze fire unveiling for all who follow us or visit our page.
It is a dream of ours to someday attend an educational ceramics conference like NCECA (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts), which would cost about $250 per person for registration plus travel costs.  In the meantime, we plan on taking workshops and most importantly, creating! Once we have enough pots, we'll start vending at events!

$1 or more per month
At this level, you will have access to one of the most exciting moments of the potter's process: unveiling of the glaze firing! We will show the results of our glaze fire, either in a video or photos.  You also get access to patron-only content such as peeks into our creation process and photos of our work. Plus, good karma and our gratitude! At this level you are helping to cover the cost of a pint of glaze or a bag of clay.
Art is Rewarding!
$5 or more per month
At this level, you will receive a unique handmade ceramic ornament once a year as a thank-you for your support! You will also have access to all patron-only content, more good karma and our heartfelt gratitude! That covers about six 25lbs bags of clay per year.

I Really Love Pottery!
$20 or more per month
At this tier you'll have access to all patron-only content, receive a unique handmade ceramic ornament and a handmade ceramic magnet every year that you are a patron at this level, plus good karma to the 20th power (that's how it works, right?) and of course our heartfelt gratitude! At this level, you are helping us with the cost of a table at a couple of vending events or admission to a workshop or two!
Goals
$0 of $50 per month
When we reach $50 per month the cost of clay and glazes will be covered! We'll do a special post and announce a new type of content that we'll create!
