I’m Jennifer. I’m an artist, illustrator & author of children’s books, facilitator of art-making experiences, and founder of Happy and Free Kid’s Space.
As a patron of my work, you make it possible for me to create art and books that center Black women and girls and tells stories that dive deep into delightful imaginings, and play. With Happy and Free Kid’s space, my goal is both to create a space for diverse authors and illustrators to tell their stories and create a resource for children and adults, where equity and real inclusivity are at the center of everything we do.
With all my work, I hope to inspire joy, wonder, and expanse of imagination that translates into an expanded reality where we make room for everyone to live and be as free as we are. In that way, my art is liberation art!
