I'm Jessy! During the day, I work full-time in IT, and at night, I'm your hot-headed, fail-counting, social-justice-ranting variety caster on Twitch.tv.
Relating the gaming or casting content back to real life issues is my speciality. I enjoy picking apart what a game is trying to say in the relationships between characters, or in a little aside joke from an NPC. Although, sometimes simply, the curtains were just blue. We also discuss our mental and physical health and well-being and how to become a better person each day. Unconditionally, video games are my passion. Without gaming, I wouldn't have all the amazing relationships in my life that I do. Video games are educational art forms that bring people from all subcultures together through the emotions and memories we experience from them. I've dabbled in video game creation from brainstorming, to writing, to concept art, to 3D animation, to programming -- but for now, I'm consuming other's creations gleefully.
At the end of college, I began streaming on twitch.tv as JessyQuil to connect with other people, similar to the feeling of playing on the couch with a sibling or friend. If you're interested in hearing my rambles live, or would like to read way-too-serious analyses of video games, or see my amateur photography, stay awhile and listen.
