About

Joe Brazil is a Jazz Musician who inspired and supported hundreds of musicians with an influence that spans the Globe.

Through the medium of music & the arts, Joe Brazil
Legacy intends to entertain and edify the community about Seattle's Black Community Leader, and World renowned musician Joe Brazil.
The Musicians who are involved are many of his former students from the
University of Washington, and the Black Academy of Music.

Joe Brazil was a dynamic Community Activist and a man of many firsts. An Engineer and a lover of technology he was a man ahead of his time and he did capture many events in audio recordings, photos, and film.

It is our intent to eventually create a digital archive to share what was captured by Joe Brazil through the ages.

This interactive historical archive serves as a "home-base" for friends family and comrades to plug in and become a part of the Living Legacy of Joe Brazil.

We invite you to become a patron, and indeed part of the LIVING LEGACY of Joe Brazil.

Thank You,
Tana Yasu, (Great-Niece of Joe Brazil)
