About

Nathaniel and Jen Jolly serve in Kampala, Uganda out of a local church, by training pastors and church leaders. They are seeking to be an aid to the local indigenous pastors and churches, by coming alongside them, and supporting in teaching and preaching for the equipping of the saints in Uganda. The ministry provides local Ugandan pastors with Biblical education, so that they, in turn, may serve their churches faithfully. The hope is that these men will become expositors of the word who will rightfully divide the word of God and being able to fulfill the role of a pastor as found in Timothy & Titus.
Many pastors in Uganda have little or no Biblical training at all and often have a low level of general education. Solid theological training is one of the greatest needs in the local church. There are some great learning institutions available. However, most cannot afford tuition and have no real opportunity to get the training they desire and need.
Jen grew up as a missionary kid in Guatemala and lived there until she left for university at the age of seventeen. Her parents were Bible translators for Wycliffe Bible Translators and spent thirty years translating the Bible for an indigenous people. Jen’s life as an MK has prepared her heart well to serve a people that have limited access to what we have here in the west. After college, Jen moved to San Francisco and finally to North Carolina. Jen crossed paths with Nathaniel when they met at a church in N.C. They were married and during their first years of marriage talked about the potential of serving abroad. In 2019 God led them to reach out to a contact in Uganda, which began the whole process of becoming full-time missionaries to the Ugandan people. They will be working with and out of Reconcilliation Baptist Church, HeartCry ministries first church plant in Uganda, pastored by Bill Issa.
Nathaniel grew up in South Carolina. He became a bi-vocational pastor around the age of twenty and has been preaching, in various capacities for fifteen years now. After traveling to Africa and furthering his education, he began to see the need for access to solid Biblical scholarship in the pulpit. Nathaniel has a passion for seeing the pulpit filled with qualified men who love the word of God and who work diligently to divide the word of God accurately, who hold to Sola Scriptura, and who take their job to feed the flock of God seriously.

Nathaniel and Jen Identify with the 1689 LBC and like-minded reformed confessions.
Our local sending church in the US is Covenant Baptist Church in N.C.
