Hello There!

I’m Justin Jordan, and if you’re here, you probably know me for my work on books like LUTHER STRODE, SPREAD, and DEAD BODY ROAD at Image, or JOHN FLOOD, DEEP STATE and SOMBRA at Boom Studios. Or possibly Thanos and Darkseid: Carpool Buddies of Doom.

Or possibly for my cat, Miss Thomas Waits. She’s amazing. She loves ham. Support this Patreon, and she gets more Ham. Which, right, brings me to what this place is.

I’ve been freelance for five, going on six years now. A function of this is that my income is erratic. I didn’t, for instance, have any income from October 2015 to March 2016. While this worked out fine, it IS hella stressful. So part of what this Patreon is meant to do is smooth out my income some.

But, beyond that, I want to use it to make comics. So the money that comes in will largely be used, barring me needing it to feed the cat, to help me make more comics and get more people reading the comics I’ve written.

Which brings me to what you get out of this deal. This place is going to have a few things. At the most basic level, you’ll get sneak previews of my upcoming work, and you’ll get access to my complete script archive.

That’s right. Every script I’ve ever written, as well as every pitch. Even for comics that never actually, you know, happened. So a complete look underneath the hood at what I do and how it’s done. Plus, you get to see projects as I put them together. If you’re familiar with what I do,you know that’s a lot of stuff.

But I have bigger ambitions. I’m also going to teach you how to make comics, or at least, how I make comics. If you’re in for the long haul, I hope to be able to distill everything I’ve learned writing hundreds of published comics and teach it to you.

If you’ve made it this far, I hope you join me. I think it’s going to be pretty cool.

- Complete Script And Pitch Archive. Every script and pitch I have, which is ALL my published work AND a bunch of stuff no one has ever seen. Plus this is updated so that you get to read some stuff before it even gets pitched.

- Sneak Previews. Basically, you get expanded previews here first. You want to see the cool stuff before anyone else. This is your place.

- CAT PICTURES.

- Everything at the previous level, of course.

- The Justin Jordan Comicbooking School. Basically, I’ll be posting a series of lessons and essays about everything I know about telling stories and making comics. I’ve done 12 creator owned series and published more than a hundred comics, so I think I’ve got a goodly chunk to say. I’m also going to try and include interviews with other creators to get a sense of how artists and letters and colorists do their thing.
Twenty Bucks
$20 or more per month 1 patron
- Everything at the previous levels, and….

- A monthly Q and A with me, where I’ll answer ALMOST any question. Honestly, I can’t think of questions I won’t answer, but I feel confident in your ability to come up with something.
Fifty Bucks
$50 or more per month 2 patrons
- All that other stuff AND....

- A signed copy of everything I produce in a month, every month. Singles. Trades. Hardcovers. You name it. This is probably limited to the continental US unless you make a really big pledge – shipping is murder. But hey, if you’re game, I’m game.

$213 of $500 per month

This will allow me to actually do marketing for my books, and if worse comes to worse, this is enough to pay for my car payment and my health insurance. Which is amazing.
