About Le Pustra's Kabarett der Namenlosen

Le Pustra's Kabarett der Namenlosen is an immersive theatrical Production and contemporary interpretation of the infamous 1920’s in Berlin capturing the zeitgeist of the period.  The show explores the sexual and artistic freedom but also the dark, brooding undertones of the celebrated and well documented Weimar Republic Cabaret Culture during the interwar years.

In Kabarett der Namenlosen, Le Pustra (Babylon Berlin) reimagines the Weimar Republic Cabaret Culture through his own unique point of view. The show explores the sexual and artistic freedom enjoyed during those years and the aim of the production is to recapture the exhilarating Zeitgeist of the 1920’s. This celebrated period in Berlin still fascinates us today and is more popular than ever with tourists, bohemians, artists and historians visiting from far and wide in search of that illusive but well documented “divine decadence”.

Le Pustra says “I want to offer our audiences a voyeuristic glimpse into the surreal world of smoky late night “Nachtlokals” of the fabled Golden Twenties where you might meet Anita Berber and Sebastian Droste. Anything was possible and everything was available.”

Kabarett der Namenlosen has established itself as the ONLY dedicated 1920's Weimar Republic Theatrical Production in Berlin since its debut in 2016 with sold out runs. We have been featured on BBC4, CNN, ZDF and recommended by Vogue Magazine.

Why do we need your help?

Kabarett currently receives no outside funding and rely solely on ticket sales. We need to secure additional sound equipment, extra technical crew and extra paid rehearsals. We also want to create a custom made Kabarett neon sign to display at venues - it will look amazing and "brand" our show.

Kabarett was recently listed as a " Top amazing things to do in Berlin" by London Revelead:

I would like to thank everyone who has supported us thus far and you can help by just sharing our Patreon link on social media if you can't pledge. We have come such a long way but there is always room for growth and development - my personal goal is to keep the "Golden Twenties" alive in Berlin by producing a STUNNING and high quality show Berlin can be proud of.

Thank you for reading.
