Dharma practice is core to my life, and I'm always looking for new tools and ways of approaching my mind and cultivating awareness. I'm an insatiably curious and enthusiastic student of the dharma—contemplating, meditating and studying on a daily basis. I am committed to working with my mind for the liberation of all beings. My current focus is on the poison of ignorance—noticing my implicit biases and unlearning habits of delusion. I am thoroughly committed to the Bodhisattva vow—working to be of benefit in everything I do, for our collective liberation.

My aim in life is to be of the greatest benefit I can possibly be. Whether it's a project of my own conception or something in collaboration with others, my aim is to turn my aspirations for a better world into actions. All that I do is influenced and fed by this aspiration.

I have begun to offer workshops and classes exploring how Buddhism is the work of social restoration.

produce and host Everything is Workable, a podcast that explores universal wisdom, social restoration, and the work of creating a world of inclusion, representation and sustainability.

I'm a writer and published author, having kept a blog in some form or another since 1999 and been writing book-length manuscripts since the age of twelve. My writing explores the multiplicity of what it is to be human, and the application of Dharma practices to help us wake up and respond to suffering.

As an artist, I have worked with many mediums. My portfolio includes sculpture, animation, poetry, painting, drawing, leather-craft and embroidery. My current artistic focus is on creating detailed line drawings of traditional Tibetan Thangkas—specifically representations of various deities in non-male form.

I also have 14 years experience in the non-profit/charity sector in Canada and the UK. My skill-set from this work includes graphic and print design, copywriting/editing, marketing, online communications, project management, fundraising, UX/UI design, and organisational skills—all things which help fuel and maintain my many projects, aspirations and ideas.

I pay for all my supplies out of pocket—including: a design programme subscription (That I use for print layout and cover design of books and sound editing of my podcast), pens, pencils, sketchbooks, paints, website registration, and podcast hosting. I do all my own marketing and promotions and project manage all this stuff.

I also give whenever I can, as often as I can. I support fellow creative types, but I also contribute funds, time and skills to community engagement project, charities and movement work. I offer workshops for free or by donation, and regularly purchase supplies for offering to unhoused people in Seattle.

Patron contributions help sustain and expand the work I do.
If you are struck by any of the stuff I do and would like to encourage and support it, it would mean so much to me if you became a patron. Your contribution is valued, regardless of what it is.
Whatever level you choose, as a patron, you will have access to my patron-only posts.
Thank you so much!

Oh, and please do say 'hello' on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and check out my website.
