My name is Keith Elliott and I'm a software and electrical engineer that loves to contribute to the Maker community by building Open Source electronics and software.  I write a blog at https://keithwelliott.com/ that documents all of the weird projects I like to tackle in my spare time.

A lot of my projects revolve around recreating consumer products (e.g. smartwatches, tablets, etc.) with Open Source designs and easily accessible components.  I try my best to provide design goals and thorough build logs so people can get a look at the entirety of the engineering process as well as follow along and copy or modify my creations.  Most of my projects involve 3D printing in one form or another, with most of the designs being original creations of my own using OpenSCAD.

My more recent projects have been focused on the more creative parts of making, putting the Art in STEAM.  So far this has mostly been limited to the aesthetics of 3D printing and some movie props, but I have plenty of ideas for additional projects that will combine art and electronics.

As a Maker, I love giving back to the community and getting feedback on my projects.  This Patreon is a way for you, as a contributor, to comment on my projects and give suggestions for improvements on current projects or help me decide what projects to work on next.  My designs and code will always be freely available on my GitHub.  Feel free to comment on posts or contact me with thoughts and suggestions!
