I'm Koyuki Panda
I'm a full time freelance illustrator. I work mostly traditionally--hand drawing on paper with pencils, pens, watercolors and markers--adding digital if necessary. I'm a pretty versatile artist, specializing in illustrations, comic art, character art, cartoons and semi-realism, and portraits.
Inspiration for my artwork collective of things including (but not limited to) other artists, such as Adam Hughes, Kevin Wada, Lois Van Baarle, Peter Mohrbacher, Junji Ito, Phil Noto, Katsuhiro Otomo, Crisalys, Nemupan, movies, comic books and great stories, Disney, Studio Ghibli, Pixar, soundtrack scores and other music, cartoons and mythology.
Being an artist means you're always practicing and challenging yourself to get better at what you do, but it can also mean struggling to look for new clients and work. Patreon seems to be the best solution to to both of those problems! On top of that I would also I like to be able to connect with the people who really support me and what I do!
What is Patreon?
Patreon is a way to connect supporters or fans (i.ie. YOU) with your favorite content creators ( I guess me XD!). The way that Patreon does this is by allowing supporters to fund their favorite creators through pledges--similar to Kickstarter. However, unlike Kickstarter, Patreon is made for long-term funding--similar to a magazine subscription. You decide how much you'd like to pledge through a tier system, with each tier being a different amount. You can can also set a monthly maximum so that you're always within your budget. In return, you receive different rewards from the creator you've chosen to pledge to.
Why pledge to me?
My plans for my Patreon is to provide illustrations, traditional work, digital paintings (Both safe and NSFW), sketches, speed paints, tutorials and guides, as well as some comic art.
I want to be able to provide a fun relationship between supporter and creator! I wanna build a bond between us so that you, my supporters, can feel that you have contributed to the work presented!
My biggest goal here is to be able to create great artwork and share my knowledge with others without being tied down working at a place I can't stand. There's never enough time in the day! I want to be able to spend all my time creating, sharing and connecting. Living my dream, furthering my art career, learning and teaching as much as I can and following my heart-- wait--my heart-? Yes *ahem* yes follow my heart ^U^
