Who are you?
I'm Kristina Horner, formerly an online personality who made YouTube videos, had a wizard rock band, and wrote a lot of terrible Harry Potter fanfiction. From about 2006-2015, I was a busy bee of a self-employed content creator, and I loved every minute of it.

While I still dabble, my life has changed a lot in the past three years.

These days I work in tech, managing community projects and transmedia activations for Microsoft, and I spend much less time on the internet than I used to. My most active time of the year online is November during NaNoWriMo, but each year I pen a new novel draft and hide it away. I've now logged 12 NaNoWriMos, and you haven't seen any of them. No one has.

Having a full-time job that's creative and awesome has been such a crazy new adventure for me, and I'm learning and growing so much every day. It definitely pays my bills, but often drains me of the creative energy I used to have solely for my own projects.

And while I'm feeling fulfilled in my life in a lot of ways, there's still this nagging feeling I have when I realize I STILL haven't really shared my writing with the world in any meaningful way, and that it's the thing I want to spend my spare time on.

So what does this mean?

I'm completely overhauling this Patreon to help make that goal a reality. I'm going to finally get my writing to a place that I feel comfortable sharing. I'm not sure what form that will take yet, but I have a few ideas swimming around in my head, and supporting this Patreon will be the fastest way to find out what's next.

Remember, this is totally optional. If and when I publish or self-publish, it will be available to all. But if you want personal updates, and want to be part of the awesome force that helps me get there... well, for that I would be forever thankful.

Tiers
A BIG THUMBS UP
$2 or more per month 10 patrons
It's taken me much too long to get my writing out there. Now I'm a busy woman with a stressful career in tech -- but I have a renewed desire to get my writing in your hands. This tier level means you're giving me a big thumbs up each month, to remind me that "yes! the stressful days and tricky time-budgeting are worth it! we want to read your books!"
ONE CHAI LATTE
$5 or more per month 9 patrons
Chai lattes are my drink of choice at the coffee shop I frequent for writing. I have been writing for 2-4 hours at the same coffee shop every Monday night for the last 2.5 years and where I will continue to write for the foreseeable future. At this level, you not only give me the constant reminder that people out there are waiting to read my books, but also cover my cup of chai.
Goals
$125 of $500 per month
I don't really have strong feelings about what my Patreon monetary goals should be, since this Patreon is more about motivating me to write, edit and share.

BUT - if we somehow get this up to $500, I will create a podcast where I read my embarrassing old fanfiction, early NaNo drafts, and more.
