Hi!  I'm Laura, owner and artist behind Laura Jaen Art.  I have a passion for exploring and learning from my local surroundings then sharing these experiences through art, pictures, and words. 

Exploring the world around me and expressing myself with art has been a lifetime dream of mine.  I am so grateful for your support! 

There are so many little expenses that go along with creating art and getting it out into the world, here are some of the basics that your support will help with:

• Replenishing supplies - canvases, brushes, paints
• Framing works of art, memberships, and entry fees
• Upgrading equipment to be able to better share my process
• Allowing more time to focus on developing my skills as an artist
• Giving the ability to devote time to researching locations and facts, and writing about these experiences
• Assisting with travel expenses to expand my focus to other locations
• Making sure that all the little expenses in life get paid (like food, shelter, and insurance)

Patreon is a great platform that helps to bring an artist and supporters together.  It takes an old concept of patronage of the arts (think the Medici Family, royal families, the Vatican to artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Michaelango, etc.) and gives it a modern twist so that people all over the world from different levels of influence can be a part of the artistic movement.

As a supporter you pledge a certain amount each month to the creator and gain access to rewards within the support reward level you have chosen.  Supporters can choose to contribute on an ongoing basis or only for a month or two.  It's a really cool way to get to be part of the artistic journey, see behind the scenes, have more personal interactions, and get access to fun pieces of art and gifts that may not be available to anyone else!
