I am a wanderer. A gypsy soul in a musician's body.

I love and perform all types of music, jazz, blues, funk, rock. I am also a lyricist and poet. You will find it all here. I have been a musician my entire life, but a year and a half ago I made a radical life decision. I realized that I didn't just want to make music that sounds pretty, or is palatable for the masses. I don't just want to "make it", or be famous. I certainly would not complain if I packed a stadium full of people- because that would be totally awesome! More than that I have a deep innate desire to tap in to the greater power of music to relate, to connect, even to heal. The greatest artists in history, of all mediums, take us out of ourselves and examine the world through different eyes. They provide perspective. They show us the reality of our humanity. I may never achieve that, but I'm certainly going to try.

SO! my boyfriend/guitar virtuoso Rafael Tranquilino and I got rid of our apartment, sold most of our belongings and set out on the open road...literally. We packed only what we needed for gigging and basic living ( and don't forget Bella the road dog!) and have spent the past 18 months traveling over 20,000 miles of the continental United States and two months in Mexico. This experience has been absolutely extraordinary. When we go to a new town, we don't just gig and leave. We stick around for a few days, sometimes weeks and get to know the people who live there. We have met so many beautiful people of all walks of life, and have been welcomed into their lives. We listen to them, to their stories, where they come from, who they are. They share their homes, their lives, pains, and joys with us. All because we come to share our music and ourselves with them. These connections that cross cultural, religious and political borders is made possible because of the magic of music.

The longer that we are on the road, the greater is my desire to share some of these unique experiences with the world. To share the challenges and triumphs of living on the road. This page is your backstage pass to the life of a 21st century troubadour. You will find interviews, anecdotes, photos and videos both on and off stage and in studio, blogs about the cultural struggles we find ourselves in as traveling musicians. Your support directly goes to keeping the dream alive. By supporting me as a patron you are keeping gas in the tank, merchandise on the shelves, and food in our bellies.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH
Life on the road is expensive. Right now everything we earn goes towards living.
Like...
Gas
Food  (sometimes in that order)
Lodging
Airfare
Car/Phone Bills

So there isn't much of anything left over for making music apart from live performances.
Your monthly support would allow us to do things
Like...
Duplicate CD's !
Order Merchandise !
Find a tour promoter or maybe even a publicist !
Get back in the studio and record another album!
Maybe even buy a travel trailer so that we can tour even more!
Enough Gas for an East Coast US tour, or Europe!

So THANK YOU! Thank you for pausing to be a part of the Patreon experience, if not for me, for other artists like me who are fighting to show the beauty in this world. Here's to music magic!

Cheers!

MR. FIX IT
Traveling full time takes a huge toll on our gear. When we reach $250 a month we will be able to get some much needed replacements and/or repairs to our existing equipment!

Things like replacing cables that die suddenly, guitar setups, replacing TSA tortured luggage, amplifier tubes, guitar strings, strings, and more strings!!
