At this point, I'd like to start thinking long-term; I have a few ideas for webcomics/graphic novels/animation pitches that I think you guys would like, but between school and earning income there's not much time for it. Once finished with school and in a relatively comfortable financial position, I'd love to start developing a project and share concept art and character designs and such with Patrons at least once every two weeks!

Hi there, and welcome! My name is Christina, though I'm much more commonly known by my online alias "LeekFish," on websites such as deviantART, tumblr, and Twitter, where I fairly frequently post new art pieces (or in the case of Twitter, babble about what I'm working on and answer questions.) I'm a recent Digital Arts graduate from the University of Oregon, and on the side I'm frequently hopping between conventions to show and sell my artwork. Fans of MLP might recognize my work that I've done for conventions, since I've worked as a promotional artist for Equestria LA, Everfree Northwest, BABSCon, and also as Sac Brony Expo's Head of Art and Design. In 2014, I raised approximately $20,000 for charity, through my contributions to auctions and other efforts. As you can imagine, I'm a busy bee, and half-jokingly refer to myself as a professional workaholic (not that I encourage that, mind you).

So, this whole Patreon thing. This is pretty rad- I love the idea of supporting artists! When I need extra funding I would normally just take commissions to earn it- of course, this means less time for my own personal artwork (prints, shirt designs, original concepts, etc)- the stuff I enjoy creating the most, and what I assume you guys really like to see. Commissions can be a bit limiting at times... and I'm not very fond of limits! After all, I love to always seek new art techniques and constantly learn and improve. I love what I do, and I love creating work that you all enjoy- but I can only do so much when there's bills to pay and all, y'know?

But Patreon is pretty cool- it allows folks to set a donation pledge amount for each month. It's awesome, because it's sort of like having a tip jar, but helps me to keep track of donations and send people perks and rewards accordingly. Sweet, right?
