In 2001, a lazy first day of school became a life-long labor of love.
Life Forever is the official brand of the author, graphic designer, illustrator, and video editor DeForrest. He has developed his craft for nearly 15 years and is thankful for each day he can create and share his art with anyone willing to observe.
The mission of Life Forever is "to educate, entertain, and enlighten through the means of the expressive arts," and this involves showcasing provocative and challenging works that serve to break the norm and cause the viewer to reflect.
Street Pedal Black is DeForrest's first action/sci-fi book series with two major releases: Episode II: Street's Warfare and Episode III: Doppelgangin. The first drawing of the protagonist was created on August 10, 2001, and the date marks the de facto beginning of Life Forever.
The young vigilante is out for blood against the tyrannical regime called "Government," which has rendered the world into a near-dystopian wasteland. No victory comes without maintenance, and Street's crew Team Blax will fight tooth and nail just to keep their right to be alive.
Life Forever’s The Graphic is an episodic series featuring DeForrest’s art process and is set to comedic commentary, featuring the cast of characters known as “Heavyhands,” “Proper,” “Deuce Five,” and “The Director” in probably some of the most eccentric conversations you’ve ever heard. The artist draws his original signature characters and other works but with the twist of entertaining the audience as opposed to just having background music or someone giving a lecture. So even if you’re not into art, this show is still for you!
A supplemental show called Illustrated By DeForrest began in 2016, which features art processes of your favorite fictional characters and pop culture icons.
seLF start is Life Forever's tutorial and tech video series which debuted in 2017. It focuses on the "educate" goal of LF's mission statement by providing informative and easy-to-understand narratives in relation to creative arts such as digital illustration, graphic design, and audio and video editing.
