About

As a nerdy teenager, David was bitten by a radioactive cartoonist. He gained the abilities and proportionate strength of a cartoonist.

By day he works as a mild-mannered desk jockey, cartooning at night. No-one at work knows his secret identity. His superpower is surviving on less than five hours' sleep a night.

He lives in England with his wife and son. They hinder and support him as much as possible.

What is Life on the Fourth Floor?
Life on the Fourth Floor is a comic about a bunch of struggling artists having sitcom adventures together. Like if Friends was a hand-drawn Disney movie. It's been running for ten years now and every page is crafted with love and completely free to read online every day.

How often do you update?
I want to make more comics, but I need to work a day job to support my family. So, right now only once a month. That will change as milestone goals are reached (check 'em out on the left over there).

What would my pledge do?
By becoming a patron, you help look after me and mine so I can just focus on making more comics and not worrying about how I'm going to buy onesies for my infant son.

He grows out of them so fast.

How often will I be charged?

At the end of the month, Patreon will count how many updates I posted during that time. Currently that's only once a month, so if you pledged $3 per update, then at the end of the month you'd just be charged that. If I posted two comics in a month you'd be charged $6 and so on. Don't worry, you can set a cap on how much you will be charged each month, so no matter how many times I update you won’t be charged beyond your maximum amount. You can edit or cancel your pledge at any time before you’re charged. Check out the FAQ for more details.

It's as easy as that?
It's as easy as that. The more you give, the more I update. So if you like my stuff and you want more, throw a little something in the tip jar. Thanks!
