Behind every Non-profit is a cause. A cause created through the passion of the founder from personal life experiences. London's Prints began as a story, a compelling memoir written about the author's personal trauma of fetal loss with the birth of her first-born son. The trauma ignited a well needed healing journey that required the Author to reflect her past and and current relationships with others and herself. As of April 2019, the memoir and L.L.C has converted into a Non-profit to bring awareness of the importance of healing and preventative prenatal care that includes emotional well-being. Education among both the patients and physicians are required to aide in the healing process after experiences such as miscarriages, stillbirths, e.t.c. The term cause is a passionate action word that has become London's Prints acronym for the mission of the corporation.

Compassion, and building community
Awareness
Unity
Support
Empathy ( bedside manner), education, empowerment (channeling trauma into power).

Self-love and education allows patients to challenge their healthcare providers in diagnosis and care giving. The womb space of a woman is sacred and her emotional well being is greatly affecting the growth/health of the child she is carrying. As a community and healthcare providers we are obligated to further understanding the affects of fetal loss on women. Enforcing silent labor wings in which women of fetal loss are among women experiencing the same challenges. Providing resources beyond hospital chaplain to aide the women in transition and grief. "Reverse nesting" a program in which women of loss donate to those women in need. A form of letting go of the trauma and making room for their new chapter. Donations can include monetary and baby products that will ease the stress of low-income mothers.

I am so excited to get this project up and running, but I know I can't do it all alone. With your contributions and support, may my foundation be one of many examples of how a woman can turn her trauma into her purpose. My vision is to receive enough funding to open my first onsite clinic with counseling, holistic services, non-traditional support groups, Physician and resident education, transition assistance, funding pots for leave of absence, staff and onsite childcare services and so much more.
