The Massachusetts Recreational Consumer Council (MRCC) seeks to ensure the safety of recreational marijuana consumers by bridging the gaps between communities, local legislators, and Massachusetts businesses. We work to make a transparent equitable industry. This is only possible through you. MRCC is for the cannabis consumer looking to participate in the Massachusetts cannabis industry. More than an advocacy group, we utilize informational media and community events to keep you engaged on all things Cannabis in the Commonwealth.

We have successfully advocated for Cannabis Cooperatives, Microbusinesses, secret shopper programs, standardized testing licenses, expungement, economic empowerment applicants, the Cannabis Control Commission's social equity program and;

Assisted community members with advocacy against bans, moratoriums and strict zoning by-laws at the local level.

This will be a non-consumption event. No recreational marijuana is allowed to be consumed, exchanged, procured, or viewable by attendees of the event. We will focus on developing strong public comment on social use regulations.


MRCC will discuss some of the highlights of social use regulations from around the world (Denver to Spain) as well as ways provide data from our recent trip to San Francisco, California.

  3. Present to coalition partners for the purpose of securing endorsement of the member’s legislative or regulatory efforts.
  4. Assist with coordination of coalition support to appropriate elected or regulatory officials to advance the legislative or regulatory strategic plan.
