Tyler - The Host
Hi, I'm Tyler the host or should I say "The Voice" behind The Minds of Madness Podcast. Just like you, I started out as an avid listener and I got hooked onto True Crime after binging the podcast Serial. As I moved quickly through many of the True Crime podcasts out there, I began running out of podcasts to listen to. Having a background in editing sound for TV and Film,  I decided I wanted to give podcasting a shot. I could never have imagined that the little show I started up in our basement, would be heard by people from around the world.

Bek - The Producer
Bek is the Producer of The Minds of Madness Podcast. Her experience working as a freelance TV Producer/Writer/Director for charitable organizations helps to bring the professionalism and quality you hear in each episode. Her passion for telling stories that provide a voice for the voiceless is what sets our True Crime podcast apart from others. She infuses the compassion she feels for the families of the victims you hear about in these heartbreaking stories.

Kate - Head of Research & Development
Kate is the Head of Research & Development for The Minds of Madness Podcast. She's been a listener & supporter of The Minds of Madness Podcast since the early days. Her career working as a certified paralegal, victim advocate & witness coordinator for a prosecutor's office, allows her to bring the diligence and respect that comes through in all of the research. Kate helps keep us connected with our listeners and manages all of the extra content delivered to our amazing Patreon supporters, as well as on Facebook and Instagram. She also manages our group of researchers and writers, while digging deep into research herself.

As The Minds of Madness podcast has evolved, it has become more time intensive, and as we strive to make sure that our research is as accurate as possible, and brings dignity to the families and victims that are affected by the cases we cover, we value the support of our listeners.

An enormous amount of time and money is involved in putting each episode together.
From research & writing, to recording, interviewing, selecting music and editing. It could easily be a full-time job for a team of people.

Just as an example, a recent 30-minute episode took us 10 hours just to edit!

We've also invested thousands of dollars just to get this podcast up and running. Some of the costs include getting our theme music and graphic work created, our recording, mixing and editing equipment, soundproofing our basement studio, monthly fee's for research databases, monthly fees for a US phone plan so we can contact people for the show, and also getting our website up and running. And thanks to the support of people like you, we're finally in the position to financially compensate the awesome people who have volunteered their time to help research and write for the show!

We've decided to set up this Patreon account in hopes of ensuring this podcast is brought to you on a regular basis, in the most professional and accurate way possible. But for that, we need your help.

There is no way we could sustain the amount of time and finances long-term that goes into producing an audio documentary every two weeks without the financial support of people like you!

No matter how small...every little bit helps, and we greatly appreciate it!

Yours truly,
Team Madness
