First, thank you for considering this project, please take some time to watch the introduction video to gain further insight into what this channel aspires to become! Second, if you want a more synthesized version keep reading. .. .

Black American Spirituality has radically changed in the last four decades. The root driving Black American Spirituality over the preceding three centuries was firmly affixed to the Christian or Islamic faith. That root, violently sown, was strictly Anti-African, Anti-Indigenous, and Anti-Metaphysical, it drew almost obsessively on the hierarchically tendencies deeply woven into the contradictory religious practices imposed on Europe and the Middle East. The past four decades has proven to be erosive to this root. Kemetic (Egyptian) spiritual practices, Metaphysical spiritual practices, and practices imported both from Native Indigenous American Spiritual practices and Spiritual Practices from Asia, has rendered the "Old Ways" unbearably irrelevant, resulting in a dramatic downturn in religious engagement for Millennials and iGenes alike (post-Millennial generation) , who are at once capable of discovering this information yet often made illiterate by competing forces within their community who seek to keep such knowledge hidden (as it is seen as unhealthy or evil). This renunciation, though understandable, has created a severing of the process whereby traditional knowledge is inherited through shared spiritual services; sermons, prayers, meditations, mantras, chants and ceremonial dance; (altogether part of this inheritance transfer), without willful participation, generational communication wanes and deteriorates. Mahoka Mwako seeks to reverse that trend by offering digital Spiritual videos that enhance the soul and inform the psyche. In the beginning, the videos produced will be singularly and solitary (with just me), but as the list of patrons grow the videos will become more expansive. I envision public meditative services with a professional camera operator filming every moment, making the experience more enjoyable. I envision public worship services complete with Black choral music and rhythmic drumming, libation offerings, Ancestral prayers and guided meditation, all surrounding a sermon presentation. The value of such a vision, once realized, maybe immeasurable monetarily, yet in very real ways it will be discernible visibly, as the work engaged in serves to re-invigorate, revitalize and ultimately reconnect those members within our community who have strayed into the far off desolate desert region of life where souls are lost and emotions become depressed by uncertainty.

Please help infuse this ancient energy back into our community! Thank you and Thank you for your Patronage, Enjoy, Share and Connect!

Peace, Love and Community to you, your Ancestors and your Home - and to the Nation we are creating.
